Far from being a novelty item or a toy, these are properly weighted practice nunchuka. They are foam padded so are safe for beginner level but are also perfect for those who have been practicing for longer as they are weighted correctly. I must admit that I was sceptical at first as most practice nunchuka are useless as they do not replicate the weight of a real pair, making it impossible to practice certain moves that require the momentum of weight to transfer during motion but the CHUXX nunchuka are perfect as they allow you to do every move and feel just like a real pair would. So impressed that I immediately bought another when they arrived. Highly recommended and perfect for practice at home and confined training spaces. The chain was slightly longer than I would like but that is purely a personal preference. Top quality product.

Got these for my son in law. He goes to karate with my grandson and they do nunchucks in class.My son in law loved these. Very happy with my present idea.

Excellent set of chucks for practice before you move onto the real set and hurt yourself.. Good robust set.

The nunchucks are smooth to touch and nice to use but the painting job was poorly done as seen in the pics and didn’t come in the advertised colors (yellow letters on black background), and instead came in white letters which made me a bit disappointed. But apart from the wrong paint job they work great for training still recommend.

Bought this as a gift for my friend who already owns everything. At least he does now.Lightweight yet sturdy, these will help him break ornaments and vases for many, many years to come.

I highly recommend these for beginners, the material is very light so the chances of injury are low, while they still have a nice weighty feel. Give 'em a whirl!
