Good value for money and bakes well
We bought a bag of this between Lockdown 1 and Lockdown 2, as my wife was trying to reduce her visits to the supermarket. We have just finished it and have just bought another bag.We bake, on average 2-3 loaves/panettone a week, with the occasional pizza bases too. It has produced lovely examples of all of these in our breadmaker, consistently too.It is quite a large bag, so we bought a sealed storage box for it to live in, which lives in the Utility Room. We then decant from the bag into a smaller 750g sealed container, which lives in the kitchen. The fact that I have just bought another bag, is rating enough.

Perfect!
This is the best value and a wonderful flavour. i make all my own bread, rolls etc and this makes a perfectly springy dough which never fails to turn out perfect results. I have even used it as a plain flour for pastry and pancakes and it is versitile enough to be delicious for those recipes too. This is my fourth order and I will continue to buy this flour in preference to any other for as long as I can! Thank you Nelstrops x

Excellent results from bread machine
Because Amazon's search engine is **** 'poor', "wholemeal bread flour" got me all sorts on the list, including Nappies ! So I bought this in error. But My first loaf with this White flour, is the BEST loaf the machine ever made. Quite different to using supermarket flour. Taste is excellent, I've eaten half the loaf already. The texture is even all over, lots of small bubbles, and springy. It cuts beautifully, hardly any crumbs, and no big spaces under the top crust. Admittedly I altered the basic machine recipe a touch, I added 25g mixed ground nuts, slightly less salt and sugar than the recipe, usual amount (1tbsp) of oil and milk powder with 195ml water and 320g flour. It is a small machine. Now, how to find Wholemeal flour of the same quality !

Extra Strong Flour
Ordered twice and really good flour for making bread, pizza bases and rolls. I make by hand not machine and they still come out really nice. 13.5 protein so it rises well with only a small amount of yeast. It comes in 16kg bags but I weigh out into smaller 500g plastic re useable bags and place them in a bigger air tight bucket.Removed 1 star because 1st time the outer box was very damaged and the 2nd time even the paper bag was open and some flour was lost in the plastic outer bag. I don't put the fault on the seller but rather on Hermes who do the delivery as they are not always gentle when it comes to handling packages.

Great
Makes great bread in my Bread Maker machine. A High quality product, will re-order once it has gone (if there is any left)I use 500g flour, 330ml bottled still water, 1 tsp dried active yeast and 1/4tsp of fine sea salt. Nothing else. Nada.Set it for a basic programme, well baked crust. Large Loaf setting. Mmmmmmmm.....Lovely, addicted to bread making now. 18month old Grandson scoffs it down with butter when it's still warm. I like the toast personally. It does not last long in our house.

It's flour
Makes a very good loaf what more do you want and value for money. This is now the 5th bag I have bought and as I said makes a good loaf. But the delivery service is fantastic, 1st time arrived a day early this time as with the second bag arrived on time, and every bag since has either come early or on time. It is also easier and cheaper to buy from a milling company than every couple of weeks from the supermarket. Easy to store I keep mine in the small bedroom. Try the flour

Excellent Flour
Nelstrop's is a local mill that we started buying in bulk from when my wife had bought a bread maker earlier this year. You'd think that three 16kg bags would have lasted a while, not so and we soon needed a top up of one them, so included that with some recent Amazon purchases.Whilst Nelstrop's is a bit more expensive than standard supermarket flour it is definitely better quality and well worth it for home bread baking and pizza dough.Highly recommended.

Perfect results every time!
Wonderful product, my first bag arrived quite badly damaged but the seller dealt with the problem immediately and a replacement was sent almost immediately - very impressed! The flour, well, I love it, make bread almost every day and always have but under current circumstances had been unable to find bread flour in the shops, it has made lovely plain white, seeded white, sourdough, a 50/50 granary/white mix, pitta breads and pizza dough, oh and cinnamon buns!, perfect results every time so will definitely order again, extra bonus - don't have to carry it home from the shops!
