This is very sticky bonding tape.
This product is a little thinner than the other "bond" leak repair tape I used in the past. It is very sticky and very pliable so it adheres to any surface you apply it to. Only time will tell if it will stay stuck down for long enough to pay for itself. There was a small problem with the clear tape that is used to keep it from sticking to itself though. It has a tendency to come off in diagonal strips leaving pieces of itself behind. This added a significant amount of time to my project because you now have to try to get the plastic peeled loose while the tape is stuck to the surface you're working on. This could also cause lifting and premature peeling should you accidentally leave pieces behind.

Fantastic product. HUGE money saver...
Used this to repair the RV's awning. We were sceptical as it was in terrible shape. Thread bare where the sun always hits the top of its rolled up position. It has been nearly a full year and it is holding up perfectly. Highly recommend you try this before buying a new pricey awning, it's incredible stuff.

TAFE FOR AWNING REPAIR.
SO FAR THIS TAPE IS WORKING WELL. IT IS A LITTLE TOUGH INSTALLING ON AN RV AWNING ONLY BECAUSE IT TAKES 2 PEOPLE TO INSTALL. HOPEFULLY IT STANDS THE TEST OF TIME.

repairs awnings, RV roofs and broken hearts
Most of the time I shop for the cheapest, not for uses like this. My camper awning was wearing out where it mettes the roof of the camper. I applied this to both sides and stopped worrying. What I was most impressed of, that it's flexible, no problem when the waning was rolled up and unrolled many, many times. It also held up to harsh sunlight. I patched a couple other places with more expensive clear "Gorilla" tape, and it didn't hold up, after a couple years just lost it's adhesion. Don't skimp on repairs you can lose sleep whether they'll hold up or not. P.S. BE SURE you're putting this where you want it, it's not forgiving and that's where it'll stay. period.
