Used for canopy / awning on RV and 2 months later in vegas sun it is perfect. In hindsight, if I bought an RV brand new or used, or put a new awning on an RV, one of the first things I would do is get a roll of this stuff and put it on that part that is always exposed to sun and highway wind when awning is rolled up. Thats the place every awning starts to go bad first because it suffers through all day of sun and all those hurricane force winds of driving down the highway. The awning manufacturers should add something on that spot to begin with, just like knees of kids pants wearing out first.It went on easy, stuck good, and is thicker than any heavy duty duct tape.I have NOT highway tested it yet though. Even if it started to come off under highway winds, I would still use it again and simply overlap edges with a white heavy duty outdoor duct tape.

good product, really hard to work with since its so sticky

I don't know how other folks may have used Permabond tape, but I used it on our in-ground pool...both to repair a 3 - 4 foot area where the pool lining was pulling away from the concrete and around the edge of the pool. I also applied in several spots, where the plastic-covered metal band (about 3" deep) surrounding the pool was chipped or totally worn through exposing rusty metal.I can't say enough good things about the adhesive power, ease of use, and durability of the Permabond tape. It sticks to virtually anything, including concrete, with adhesion properties beyond any other tape I've ever used! Water does not affect it, and application was a snap. In my view, simply an incredible product. Nothing else I found could have resolved my pool issues so effectively.

Bought this 25 foot rool to fix some seperating of my roll out awning on my 30 foot travel trailer. the 1st 18 feet was super sitckey.Removing the backing from the sitcky at times required a firm jerk many times..It did not seperate smoothly..When I got to 17-1/2 feet there was little to no adhesive on the product and had to keep pulling product off the roll and piece milling together to get to 19.5 feet, Still have about 5 feet on the roll not used..Not convinced this product will hoild up but time will tell..

Great product. we purchased to repair the sun damaged part of our RV awning. The tape adhered very well and made the repair easily. We repaired the top of the awning and added a strip on the underside as well. Seems to have done the trick. So much stronger than the original fabric.Do wish that I had purchased a 6" wide rather than a 4". Just would have made the awning that much stronger. ..

I have a black vinyl task chair in which the vinyl was starting to rip at one of the seams. I tried duct tape and other methods, but the results of those repairs left much to be desired. The Permabond tape solved the problem. It sticks very well, even at the edges, and the repair is hardly noticeable,

use it to repair a seam on my face swell and it works great

I don't review much but I have to say this tape is Amazing! I installed a window air conditioner and needed something to keep the elements from soaking the weather sealing foam around it. This stuff is SO STRONG and stuck to the AC and Vinyl frame like a CHAMP... I shot from the hip with this purchase and it was a HOMERUN for what I needed it for. I hope it lasts as long as it feels!Only DISLIKE: The PRICE is a little steep!!!
