I've been drinking yerba mate for a few years now, and I've tried a variety of bombillas. The Gaucho-Market Stainless Steel Spring Bombilla is one of my favorites by far.The first thing I like about this bombilla is the material. It's made of stainless steel, which is durable and easy to clean because of the spring-loaded filter that is also removable. I've had other bombillas that were made of copper or brass, and they've started to corrode over time. The stainless steel bombilla from Gaucho-Market is still going strong.Another thing I like about this bombilla is the design. The spring-loaded filter is very effective at preventing the leaves from getting into it. I've used other bombillas with a straight filter, and I've always found that some leaves would make their way through. The spring-loaded filter on this bombilla eliminates that problem.Enjoy!

I've tried 3 different styles of Bombilla's so far, and this is the BEST one for me! When pushing the Mate around and Maintaining the Mound, I have gotten a lot of the mate sucked into the other straws. The spoon style is next to the best. The straw with small slits on the sides clogged at the very first draw. With this Bombillo, you can rotate the shields to be over the holes, which greatly reduces the debris getting to the straw. If you use a Calabash Gourd, the shield makes a great scraper too. This straw is also made to clean easily. You can pull the shield down and flip it to the side... this makes it much easier to clean the straw part. If you're having trouble with a different style of Bomilla... I definitely recommend this Bombilla!

Traveled to Uruguay and enjoyed drinking mate there, so I purchased the necessary accessories. The straw was allowing too much of the particles through so I needed something a little better. This is much nicer. It is easier to clean and filters out larger particles very well.

This one works extremely well. Very little tea or yerba gets through the straw if any. Feels great and looks good.

I had almost the exact same designed bombilla from another brand that I loved, so I was hoping this would be an easy replacement when I left my old one at a hotel. It definitely gets the job done (the spring feature at the end makes it awesomely easy to clean), but it is disappointingly not as high-quality as my last. I might end up returning and purchasing elsewhere.

I was highly displeased with the quality of this product. The straw has a very strong metallic taste, and it gets clogged extremely easily.

It's small, fits perfect for my mate. Super easy to clean.
