OK - fun but weak
They definitely mute the ring and power compared with wooden sticks but they are ok for a bit of fun and an emergency pair for marching.

I bought these as a backup as I kept breaking cheap sticks. I don't use these as my "go to" stick but they are really decent, I thought they would be more flexible, but they are (almost) as solid as a good wooden stick. for a beginner or as a spare pair then these are worth the money.
