Sometime I love it, sometimes I wonder if I should have ...
Sometime I love it, sometimes I wonder if I should have waited.PRO: the photos come out beautiful. quiet shutter, perfect for shooting stealth to not disturb the subject or scene.light and small. sync well with flash.(but only with Canon lens. With other lenses the flash can't meter properly) good quality build.zoom focus is great for manual focusing.CON: really short battery life. Since you need the screen on all the time to shoot, the batter dies in a couple of hours. I was on a trip and had 3 batteries but was out of luck before the day was done. you'll need at least 4 batteries and several chargers. Can be tricky to change aperture settings as it's all on the screen rather than a dial like an SLRNo viewfinder. I'm old enough that I can't focus close up without reading glasses, so I can't see the screen without pushing the camera away from me. That might be fine if I have a small lens on, but with a large zoom lens, it's impossible to balance without shaking. I also take a lot of accidental photos of my feet from the the touch screen shutter. even though it can be turned of, it does come in handy.Slow to focus on action and low light. Keeps going in and out of focus when the light is a bit dim. even though it can take great low light shots in hi ISO, it takes some time to find the focus. So if you'r shooting kids or moving subjects, forget it.
