Beautiful, detailed cover!
This is a beautiful Bible and I love the translation, but I was buying it for my mother who has cataracts and the print wasn’t large enough so I’m returning for an even larger print same version and hopefully they’ll have a cover as beautiful as this one!

Deepening your understanding of The Word for today's average reader.
I aboslutley love this version of the Bible. There's so much commentary at the bottom that enhances the reading and also allows enough margin space for annotating. This has helped my understanding of The Word a great deal. Highly recommend to supplment your understanding.

Easy to understand
This is a great modern version of the New Testament, Psalms, Proverbs and Song of Songs. After buying one for myself, I bought one for a friend. She and I both love using it for Bible study. I plan to buy the Old Testament books they have versions for as well. I include a photo of a portion of 1 Corinthians 13, so you can see how it compares to other versions. Also, at the beginning of each book, there is an at-a-glance section, about section and a couple more pages with info about the book and context. There are notes at the bottom of each page to show similar translations for the words or an explanation of what its context is.

This is the true heart of Papa on a page.
Amazing translation. It’s nice to finally have a Bible, accurately translated, and not written by a legalist. Most modern day translations are hyper abundantly legalistic, reiterate the law rather than the Grace of Abba, and push the narrative of God being an angry, punitive God rather than loving Father. The passion translation seems as if it is “paraphrase” or “words have been added, taken away or changed” because it has to, to be properly translated. Most bibles we read nowadays have TONS of added words to the verses, but we have read them for centuries so to us, it seems right and the passion seems wrong. But Brian has removed verses that have been added over the centuries. And it is so beautiful. This is the true heart of our Abba on a page. And I commend Dr. Simmons for writing this, it is so hard to translate Greek to English anyways and this is the best you’re going to get. Holy Spirit inspired this translation not man, paradigms, religious systems and political parties like most older translations came about, especially KJV. Holy Spirit is our teacher anyways, not the Bible. So it’s nice to have a translator who listens to the whisper of Yahweh. This is super important when reading a translators version of a translation. Which is why I would recommend doing your research and history on the translations we have today; just because they have their name on the Bible honestly doesn’t mean anything.. I don’t recommend any other translation to anyone now other than the Passion Translation.

A very good size to take with you when you are traveling, The Passion Translation is a good bible to add to your bible collection if you want to compare scriptures.

The Passion translation is amazing! I am French and I find it super easy to read and understand thanks to all the notes at the bottom of each pages (Cf photos). The wording is accurate and very understandable. This Bible gives a lot of explanation and context that prevent me from misunderstanding many passages on important and burning issues (ex: the role of women in church, etc): the truth will set you free! Also, the cover is very beautiful and the quality is good!

Amen
