I use these for winter bicycle riding, to keep cold air from blowing into my eyes. They work great for that purpose. Even with a balaclava, they don't fog up. The foam padding keeps too much cold air from getting, while allowing enough air flow to be breathable. The auto tinting is great because in the winter the chance are you are going to be riding around in both the day and night, and this means you can carry around one fewer pair of glasses/lenses.
