Great idea, faulty product...
The product is great but after 4 days of use the flowing light indicating the charge happening all of a sudden stopped and it only functioned as advertised when held at a certain angle... Returned product, won't buy again... Also the length isn't long enough for use while charging...

Not durable
I have purchased and used 2 flowing EL cables. The iasg green cable is bright enough, is the same color as pictured, and fit the charging port on my iPhone6 just fine. The reason I've rated it 3 stars is because I found the connector material to be too brittle. Not long after my purchase, I had my iPhone in the pocket of my jeans and the charging cable connected to a portable charger (something I do frequently with my other cable). I stooped to tie my shoe and put lateral pressure on the connector. Not a good idea, I acknowledge. Still, the connector snapped completely off with an amount of pressure that my nervous system registered as "very little". So, for durability during normal to semi-weird use, I cannot recommend this product.

The lights are pretty cool
It works just like it says and looks really cool in the dark when the lights are all moving. I really like that the lights shut off when it reaches the 100% charge so it lets me know when the phone is ready to come off the charger.

Buyer Beware!!! It stopped working days after I got it!
The cable is folded/wrapped when it is shipped. Everywhere the cable was bent for shipping stopped working after only a few short days. It's a waste of money for what you pay.

ConsumetADVOCATE recommends ACTUAL APPLE CORDS. If you have to have moving dashes, this is best bet
Most Apple certified products from China are not always actually certified. ConsumerADVOCATE had tested several moving leds charging cords made with lightning and 13 pin docking plugs. They are all from China. Most stop working after being put in service. The charging dashes stop moving. Or the plug contacts are essentially junk. This particular cord is pricier and while there really is almost no documentation, seems a bit more robust in construction. If you want a visible means of verifying charging, or you like the look, this is probably the wisest bet to purchase.

Pretty Light show but mediocre transfer and charge speeds
Very Short cable. Needs at least 8 inches to use comfortably. Also slow to charge and transfer data.

The cable works well as a charging cable for both my iphone and ipad. I haven't tested it in data capability. I bought it for the variable speed chasing green lights, and that works beyond expectation.
