Original German Schweinebraten Spice Mix, German Pork Roast 100g - 3.5oz

Adds a distinct flavor to all. I use it on my meat, chicken, and in my soups. I don't think will use anything else. Just a little bit goes a long way!

I was born & raised in Germany but have been living in the USA for a long time. One problem I’ve had was to get authentic spice mixes for my German meals. Some types of mixes are available in one-meal envelopes which is great for trying a new receipt but gets expensive if used regularly. ENDORA makes the best mixes at reasonable prices!This pork roast spice mix is perfect, an excellent blend of spices and an aroma that will make your mouth water.One word of caution: anything containing paprika burns easily and distorts the taste of your roast if burnt! I lightly salt and pepper (white pepper!) the meat before browning and baste it with the spice when the roast has a nice color. Let the meat fry a couple of minutes longer just to bring out the flavor but without burning the spices. Once that’s done (it smells yummy) I just add water to slowly simmer the meat.My son, raised in America, just recently begged me to send him a spice mix for his pork roast as he was unable to find it where he lives. I sent him a few blends via Amazon and advised him to be on the lookout for products from this company!Excellent product, authentic, reasonable priced!!! Perfect!

I've made several pork dishes with the schweinebraten spice mixture and look forward to trying it in other recipes. Prior to buying it, I had been using the Octoberfest spice mix from the Chicago Spice House. Unfortunately, the Octoberfest blend is currently unavailable. I was glad when I found this mixture. The Schweinebraten Spice Mix is not quite as versatile, but perhaps more authentic. I'm not German (and therefore no expert), but I recommend it highly.

I bought this spice to cook some German food for my mother-in-law. The spice was fresh and fragrant. It made the best pork roast and she was brought back to her childhood days. Delish

Reminded me of Germany

I had been looking to replenish my Schwenkbraten Gewürzsalz, but not finding it, I saw this Roast Pork spice mix and am sure it will work just fine. German meat spices and gravies are hard to beat.

This seasoning is incredible, used it in some thick cut center pork chop. Cooked them slow on the grill with a generous helping of seasoning. Incredible !!!!!

Be careful because it is a bit salty. But used in the right amount, it's wonderful!!!
