Will buy again
Love these boots. Warm and comfortable. This is my second pair of this style and I have a pair, from the same manufacturer, from a few years ago. I wear them all. Price ain't bad either.

Made in China but confortable
After 25 years of distance running and numerous ankle sprains, my feet and ankles aren't in the best of shape. I need a shoe or boot with good ankle support. I have been wearing LL Bean for many years and, while they are great for me feet, they are VERY hot in the summer, i.e. NOT breathable at all. These shoes, out of the box, required no break-in. I went right out and walked 4 miles. They are light, seemingly waterproof, with fairly aggressive lugs for the sole. The ties are sort of strange and I am unsure how they will hold up to repeated tying. I don't run anymore, but walk about 30 miles a week, mostly pavement with some trails. I HATE they are made in China, but the LL Beans are made in Viet Nam, so there you are. If I have issues down the road I will update. I ordered size 9 and they fit nicely with regular weight socks. I normally wear an 8.5. So if you have any doubt, I would go the next larger size. I don't see any half sizes.

These XPETI boots are very warm.
These XPETI boots are great. They are very warm, they don’t feel very stiff when you first put them on brand new. The only thing I didn’t care for which is not a big deal, but the laces that come with it are very thin. All I did was keep my old pair of steel laces and I use those. Not to take away anything awayfrom the boot, but these really are good boots.

Xpeti is my new go to boot/shoe
I bought one pair of them, the more aggressive hiking boot, I liked the look. But, I had my doubts because they were less expensive than merrels, my other favorite shoe/boot, got my first order in, and I like them so much, I’ve now purchased more/different models. Which brings me to this pair here. My other pairs of Xpetis are leather. And are much stiffer, these are a nylon material which forms to your foot instantly, more like a real snow shoe. Which makes them extremely comfortable as soon as you put them on. The sole, is more of a flat look, without the arch in the sole, but plenty of arch inside for the foot. This is to give you more area of the boot on the ground. For ice and snow, traction Plenty of grip on the sole, solid firm feel on the ground. To me, a good boot for a good price, I’m a 9 in a merrel, these are true to fit for me. Buy them, you’ll be happy you did.

Durable and comfortable (with different insoles)
Overall these boots are impressive for the price. I work in landscape maintenance and construction and put my boots through hell. These boots have outlasted my Redwings, timberland pro and carolinas. I need boots that are light weight, water resistant, durable and comfortable and these fit the bill. My work boots typically lasts for 6-9 months and that's because the outer soles start to come apart. I have had these for 6 months and everything is still intact, although the threads are showing wear, which is expected as I typically walk 9-17 miles a day on dirt, mud, asphalt and concrete. I will say that the insoles are not the most comfortable but it's not a problem for me because I always use other insoles. The quick lace/tying setup is nice and durable. Waterproof these boots are not. Standing in water for more than 10 minutes and your feet will be wet. I will be buying again
