Love the pirate and all the necessary attachments he co es with. Whimsical and functional! Everything opens easily, light weight and built solidly. Perfect size for everywhere and opens all the bottles (beer, wine, etc). Pirate theme is great for my boat outings!

I've had one of these on my keychain for over a year and I love it. Be prepared for people to ask you "What is this key for?" and the "Oh, neat!" that you'll get when you tell them it's a bottle opener. It's not flimsy or cheaply made and looks very nice. It is longer than any other actual key I have on my keychain but that hasn't been a problem for me since it works so well. Since I almost always keep my keys in my pocket I almost always have a bottle opener handy, which is nice and aside from looking cool is the whole point of this product. When using the key, try to hook the bottle cap where the crimps are jutting out and the cap will come off easier. Most times the cap will come off in one attempt, but if it doesn't all you have to do is grab the cap with the key on another point and the cap will come right off. Pros: Looks cool Works great Well built Cons: Size - A little large (but if it were smaller it wouldn't be as easy to use) EDIT: It is now 2013 and I still have this bottle opener on my keychain. It still works just as well as the day I bought it and I use it all the time. The chrome finish has worn away in some places to reveal the brass underneath (I assume it is brass), but that just gives it a more authentic "old key" look, in my opinion. I originally had high price as a con, but that was back when this cost 10 dollars. At $3.49 this is an excellent buy. EDIT: It is now 2016 and the bottle opener is still going strong. Looking at the newer reviews, it appears there have been some fakes sold. I can only speak the the quality of the original, which is very well made and strong. I've had it with me for 7 years now and I believe it will last another 7 years with ease. EDIT: 2022 and I no longer carry the bottle key. It is still in perfect working order, but I don't use bottle openers as much as I used to so at some point I stopped carrying it. Maybe I'll go find it and carry it around a bit more. Either way, it was well worth the money and I got many years of use out of it. Figured I'd drop one last update, even though at this point it's a bit irrelevant.

This adorable, sturdy pirate opens bottle caps with ease! I haven't tried out the wine bottle opener, but I'm sure that this sturdy little tool will be able to cut around any foil on top of a wine bottle, plunge it's corkscrew into the cork, and uncork the bottle. I can't wait to take this handy little pirate with me on a picnic adventure!

I honestly love this little guy. I've always been a fan of pirates so when I saw this combination corkscrew it was pretty much a no-brainer. It looks even better in person than it does on the photos, with the black 'body' having a nice matte finish and quality stainless steel composing the rest. I get compliments on it all the time when I throw parties or have guests over! As far as functionality goes, it's probably not the best corkscrew and/or bottle opener you could get. If you're a bartender, server, waiter, or some other profession that calls for quick and efficient bottle/cork opening, you'd be better off with something else. However, if you're looking for a fun and cute gift or accessory for your home, this is absolutely perfect!

This was a Christmas gift for the husband. It works well - the magnets hold it securely to the fridge. The shape of the opener works well. Our trash can actually sits next to the fridge, so we just pop the lid and it falls right in. The husband says twist tops don't work - for some reason they spill (for those sneaky beers that have twist tops, but you forget and use the opener anyway). I gave it 4 stars because ours came with an imperfection in the metal - a rough line down the whole piece. It wasn't worth the hassle of sending it back since it works well enough. My only suggestion to improve - it might be possible to design one with a more powerful magnet that was smaller, as this does take up a bit of fridge real estate. All in all though, we are pleased and for $15, we're happy customers.

In memory of my neighbor's husband, his widow and our family celebrate "Talk like a Pirate Day" every year. We exchange gifts, memories, and try to come up with silly pirate stuff. Her husband loved this day and pirates. This bottle opener was the addition to our celebration this year. I was very happy that it came so quickly, and it was very cute and durable. I was a little worried about getting this considering some of the negative reviews, but I love it and haven't had any of the problems reported by others, such as the magnet not holding it securely enough or spilling due to the angle. I positioned it on my fridge directly next to the handle on the freezer door (I have the old school over/under style fridge). As another reviewer mentioned, having something integrated to catch caps would be a nice touch, but it's really not that big of a deal to just catch it afterwards. The main reason I got this was so I wouldn't have to go fishing around for my bottle opener in the utensil drawer every time I want a beer, and this works perfectly for that purpose. I realize that makes me sound pretty lazy, but whatever... Don't judge me -- you don't know what I've been through! A side note: I bought mine directly through Amazon, so I can't speak to the quality of those sold by third party vendors. One reviewer said that he/she might've received a cheap knock off from a third party vendor, but the one I received from Amazon seems to be legit, and I've been very satisfied with it.

Ich habe diesen Flaschenöffner-Schlüssel(-anhänger) im August 2013 bestellt. Seitdem hängt er an meinem Schlüsselbund und er hat schon viel miterlebt und überlebt. Bis jetzt kann ich mich über nichts beschweren, er funktioniert immer noch einwandfrei und ich denke, dass wird er auch in Zukunft noch.

Nachdem mir etliche Plastiköffner mit Saugnapf gebrochen sind, hier nun endlich die Lösung. Stahlteil mit super Magneten. Hält gut, sieht gut aus und funktioniert perfekt. Sehr zu empfehlen.
