Great item, but rack included with demi model is USELESS
LOVED using this for the first time last night, except for the fact the "rack" included with the demi model is USELESS. Why is the rack for the regular model not included? It fits just fine in the smaller model, so it's not that.I ordered the regular rack from the manufacturer, but had to pay $6 shipping on it as the rack is only $13 and doesn't qualify for free shipping on their site, so this is really irritating me. If Amazon carried the rack I could have gotten free shipping with my prime membership, but they don't. I wish I could give this review without giving a rating, but the system won't let me, so I'm going to give it a 1-star in hopes people will see there's a 1-star review, read it, and order the regular rack at the same time they order their demi. Maybe the manufacturer -- who doesn't have a "review" option on their site -- will see the feedback here and start including the regular rack in the demi.Make no mistake, the sous vide demi is FANTASTIC. I made a turkey breast last night that was literally the best I've ever made -- cooked through but still juicy and tender -- but the manufacturer cheaped out on the rack in the demi.
