There are some logical issues that could easily be fixed with a quick edit. If those were made this would be a decent story. Characters could use some development but overall you can relate to them and intuit their motivations. Not going to seek out other books but I won’t avoid them either.

If you like older man/younger woman romances, you will enjoy this book. Dani and Killian are interesting, well-developed characters with chemistry. The story is interesting, well-written, with a happily ever after. In addition to receiving an arc, I purchased the book for my collection.

There are so many aspects of this adventure that involves heeding warnings, knowing when to call for back up help, and observing the three rules ! Yes, that is when to speak, when not to speak and when to listen !!!

The plot feels like at child came up with it.The characters had no development and were all forgettable.This just wasn't a good book.At all.If you like a short fast read then sure you might like this.But personally this book just isn't worth reading and I'm honestly in shock at how many good reviews it has.Badly written. The end.

A riveting second chance romance! The amazing story line is well thought out, emotionally deep, well developed, action-packed, engaging, and well written. The suspense, mystery, secrets, danger, steam, intense chemistry, and twists and turns will keep you on the edge of your seat while holding your interest until the very end. This book is a great combination of older man/ younger woman , bro’s best friend. Dani has gotten her law degree. She heads home and is glad to be near her big brother Slade. She is thrilled when his best friend, Killian, offers her a job working with him as he’s a lawyer as well.Dani has crushed on Killian for years and has never forgotten their once shared kiss.As these two work together they realize their feeling are more than a crush. Yet with danger heighten due to the gang they are beholding their case on as well as their relationships with Slade being affected with their romance there is a lot on the line.Loved the action. Dani and Killian in this story are two lovers who only have to see each other and they want to sleep with each other. I liked this story and would read it again.

Dani starts working for Killian on the case of a wrongly accused man. Killian is also best friends with her older brother and she has always had a crush on him.While working the case Dani ends up with a gun to her head, so Killian quickly takes her of the case. They she gets kidnapped.When she is freed they both declare their love of each other.

I liked this book and recommend it to anyone who likes a nice happy romance. Well done to the author.
