AUTHENTIC 100% Cotton Fashion Dessert Arab Middle Eastern Keffiyeh Tactical Military Hatta Shemagh scarf

Nicely made shemagh / keffiyeh. Made differently from others I have ordered, and is also a little larger. I have included a photo of blue/black shemagh from a different supplier for comparison.Other shemagh I have ordered were generally about 43 x 44 inches and made in Pakistan, India or China. Nothing on the packaging for this one states where this one is made, but it was shipped by Israel Post. This one measured crosswise in the center is 49.25in x 50 in (125 cm x 127 cm).Other shemagh I have ordered appear to have the pattern woven in, have two selvage edges, with the other two edges knotted along the full length of the edges (as seen in the blue & black shemagh).This one looks like the pattern is printed on the fabric, the pattern is darker on one side than the other side. It has 2 selvage edges. The other two edges instead of being knotted. Has been hemmed with a border sewn on the hemmed edges. It has only two tassels that have been sewn on diagonal corners, not made by knotting the fibers used to weave the fabric. (I think you can see those features in the photos.)The weave of the fabric also seems to be a little bit tighter weave than some other shemaghs I have ordered, though some other shemaghs I have are weaved with about the same tightness as this one. It delivered ahead of scheduled delivery date, in a soft package.

The word "Authentic" maybe means nothing here - no verification tag declaring origin of manufacture. What I received was a dark charcoal colored scarf that looks nothing like the photo of the scarf I ordered, and the quality is not the same as the Palestinian keffiyehs I've bought before. Returning.

(Review for both traditional white/black with Palestinian colour embroidery and pink/blue). I cannot believe how quickly these arrived! ETA was April 26 but just arrived today, ie, March 20!! But if they had arrived as scheduled they'd have been worth waiting for.... Quality is first rate, clearly the real deal. I am so happy and excited as they have arrived a day before a trip to San Francisco where they are going to be brilliant for keeping me warm whilst looking uber cool..8-). I can see myself getting a few more colours.. As I haven't washed them yet I will do an update when I do. Seriously, forget the other versions of the keffiyeh, I bought a couple and they are FAR inferior to this item and also much smaller. I will likely buy a couple more colours from this seller as gifts and for myself!! Oh, if I had to choose a favourite I would say the pink/blue is it (I am a girl!) but the white/black would better suit a guy although I do love it too.

this is great for cold weather. Its enough to keep a chill off without getting your face hot. It cuts down on wind exposure and is still really breathable. not really enough for temperatures that drop much below freezing, but still better than nothing. my only real complaint is that the fabric is a little bit coarse/scratchy

I had been looking for an authentic or at least close to authentic kufiya for quite a while, and I was a bit put off when I saw the price for this, but I have to say that it is well worth the extra money. It comes from Hebron Palestine, made by Hirbawi. Very good material, thick and heavy, you can immediately tell this is a quality cloth, the embroidery is good, and the tassels are well done. If you want a quality kufiya that will last, buy this. Palestinians know their stuff.

I did ordered this scarf for my Palestinian friend for his birthday. Is very nice scarf with Palestinian color of the flag what stand as a symbol for freedom from Israeli occupation. Previously I ordered less expensive Black Arab Shemagh Cotton Palestine Arafat BK-WT for my self . And I was comparing this two scarf. My conclusion The black one look like little more quality comparing to this one.So I give only 4 stars.

Very nice it is made of cotton but the trim is made of something else I think nylon but still very nice for the price and it'sactually being from Palestine which is pretty cool and it's a bit on the thin side so you can wear in warmer weather
