When I scan cards, it adds to additional letter's before the card number, which is pointless, when I'm doing data entry, I have to manually delete the 2 letters.

Serves the purpose and is being used constantly. Good product.

We have used these in our store for months now without any problem.They were easy to install and required no drivers on our W7 machines. Would highly recommend !!!

These are great little devices for swiping a credit card and getting charged a lower fee. Simple plug and play. Cord is plenty long enough to be plugged into a computer under a desk. Even saw one of these is a fast food restaurant recently.

Only used once so far, but worked great for taking credit cards

Pro: plug and play, shows up as keyboard device, no need to install driver.Con: Does not read track I consistently, only reads about 5% of the time. Also it seems to strip away magnetism from the card after repeated swipes rendering card unusable. (happened to one of the card I was testing). Reads track II about 50% of the time. Reads track III about 98% of the time.For Ontario Health Cards, all the important info are on Track I. This device is useless for that as it rarely read track I.Everytime a card is swiped, it emits a loud beep. Some may like this, some won't. I wish it can be turned off, or at least much quieter sound.
