Solution to the loose clicker caps
I read reviews of other buyers who claimed the pen's clicker is loose in the barrel when the tip is extended, and decided to try and solve that issue when I ordered this item as a replacement for a different stylus from Adonit. I received it just today, and spent a few minutes testing how loose the clicker is, and after confirming that it easily pops out during use, I decided to check the spring to see if that may be what keeps the clicker from staying in place during use. When I removed the spring, I found that the spring is actually too long, and that the clicker actually works perfectly fine with a shorter spring. I found out about this issue when I tested the pen without putting the spring back in, and the clicker never once popped out of position during use.The solution I came up with is to simply trim just two or three loops off of the spring so that the spring no longer interferes with normal use of the pen. Or if you don't want to trim the spring, you can use the pen without the spring as the clicker is long enough to where it won't get stuck inside the barrel. The clicker is removed by twisting the cap, and this does not affect how the pen works. Only remove the clicker while the tip is retracted, or the spring might fly out of the barrel when the clicker is removed.Regarding the pen itself, I have a universal screen protector on my phone, and the pen works perfectly on it. It works better than both of my previous disk stylus pens, one of which was an Adonit stylus. For my use, this stylus is perfect, and aside from the spring being too long for the clicker, there have been no issues at all so far. The pen's tip is far more durable than the other pens I've tried with similar tips, and it doesn't seem to scratch the screen protector during use.Overall, I would recommend this stylus over the others as it's not only more affordable, but also is much easier on screens and glides smoothly even on plastic screen protectors.

Problem solved quickly!
I have a Kindle Fire, iPhone 6S and an LG G3 phone. This pen will now work on any of them. I even took them out of the case so there would be no screen protector. Yes, I am extending the pen tip out of the body when I attempt to use it. The only time I got it to work at all is when I wetted the tip a bit, then I got it to draw a 1/4" line, no more. It seems well built and I hope I am being brain dead and doing something wrong but, I don't see what that might be. My old stylus and my finger work just fine on all devices but I wanted a finer tipped instrument. Please reply with your fix for this. I really don't want to go through the hassle of repackaging it and sending it back.7 June 2017 Update: TechMatte responded to me quickly and sent me a new tip for my pen. It works GREAT! Thanks for the awesome customer service!

This is a click pen, hides the tip, no need for caps!
This is a great pen, extremely affordable as well.I'm sure many people don't like to have to deal with pen caps and the fact that this pen conceals the tip for safe keeping is awesome! The pen is very precise and glides well. It doesn't skip or stop working like other pens I've used. The only thing I didn't like, which was minor, is that the tip could be a tad bit more snug. I dragged the pen tip against my jeans and the tip fell off. If you can manage not to do that, this is a non issue.

Accurate, retractable, ingenious fine tip pen for capacitive touch screens
This is an accurate, retractable, capacitive touch screen pen with a very fine tip. It has an ingenious mechanism to protect the tip when not in use, and to help it move smoothly and accurately across the screen. Very useful for all people who can write and draw better, faster, and more accurately with a pen than with their thumbs or fingers. It also allows to select tiny screen buttons and menus without mistakes, such as when annoying, deceptive ads place a small 'close ad' button right next to a 'select ad' button.

i think this is a good product, pen feels solid- has a nice weight to it, although i feel as the tip is very flimsy and will not last long. i have had it for a little over a week and it's pretty nice to use for puzzle games and drawing on my phone. it takes a while to get used to the disk style tip- and i will be using it to see how long it lasts.overall, i feel okay about it- not too happy about the flimsiness of the disk but it is needed to have its full range of function.it's a solid stylus with decent pricing, and i dont regret trying it out. see if this one is for you- but if you have used a regular soft point one then you may- or may not like it.

Pen is not very useful
The design just isn't good. For any potential buyers, imagine attaching the flat side of a penny to the end of a straw. Now also imagine that in order to write, the penny has to be flat on the surface. So basically you are forced hold this tool like you would a net or tennis racket or severely rotate your wrists; you have to come at the screen from a perpendicular angle. Which is stupid as most people hold their pen/utensil at an angle. I figured that the side of the circular tip could be used and that the weird design was just necessary for it to work with iphones/pads. I was wrongThat aside, I found the pen to be very inaccurate. It literally could not hit things close to the edges of the screen of my iphone SE or my ipad. I was also getting long taps when quickly tapping the screen which causes things to drag. Because of how you have to hold it, the pen is very inaccurate for the first strike. It does "hold" onto the screen well, so once you make contact, it works as long as you don't pick the pen back up which is a niche scenario. So to nobody's surprise, I would not recommend this product to anyone and would recommend staying away.

This is an awesome stylus. I use it on my iPad with my Jigsaw Puzzle app and my coloring book app. It is easy to use. It works easily with the two apps I have used on it so far. The puzzle pieces around easily. Better than the other stylus I have used. The tip fits in more of the small spots on the coloring app. There are still some I have to enlarge the picture to get in but so far not as many.I like that the tip is protected when you retract it. I can carry the stylus in a bag and not worry about damaging the tip. This stylus is easy to handle and hold on to. I am really glad I found this stylus. So far it is the best one I have found.

Best quality is its retractable
Great stylus. Very accurate and plastic tip means you can see where you’re writing. Only issue I’ve had is that sometimes it doesn’t seem to work, not sure why. Not frequent enough to bother me though. The fact it’s retractable is great as it means it’s less likely to be damaged in travel.
