Great quality leather fits my LCR 38 and SP101
Great quality holster. Hard to holster at first as is common with leather holster. Then i read a tip to wrap gun in wax paper and holster and unholstered several times. What a difference it was like instant break in with revolver going deep in holster with great trigger coverage. Belt clip is strong and high quality. I am very happy with this reasonable holster purchase especially since it works for 2 of my revolvers.

Great Holster After Softening/Conditioning
Good quality holster and super clip. Leather is super stiff, though, enough so that Ruger LCR would not fit all the way in and pull out smoothly without holding the holster and pulling on the gun at the same time. Soooo...I got some Wilson Baseball Glove Softener/Conditioner (on Amazon). After three or four overnight treatments, soaking the leather thoroughly, the holster formed quite nicely to the gun. (Seal the Ruger in a heavy duty ziplock bag, stuff it tightly down in the holster, spray the outside of the holster thoroughly until the leather is wet, seal the gun and holster in a larger heavy duty ziplock and leave overnight. Repeat three times.)

Good low cost option
This is an excellent IWB holster for the LCR. I carry my LCRX in this when I'm not using it as a back up in ankle rig. It has excellent retention and fits perfectly. The clip is a tough steel and keeps the gun and holster where it should be. It is easy to get on and off when you want to. The stitching is good, and the finish is decent. It is not the best, but not the worst. It has an open muzzle and nylon lining, both of which I don't like in a holster, but for the price it is a minor issue. I also don't like that the leather is fairly thin and has no reinforcement around the mouth, which means re-holstering will be a bit of a chore. But again, it wears a fairly low price tag for a leather holster, and beats the el-cheapo nylon holsters any day. Long story short, it is a good holster at a decent price.

Wanted to like it
Purchased this because of the reviews I read on Amazon. I am somewhat new to concealed carry but I own a few handguns, all which I carry IWB. This holster is well made and looks really nice but it adds a lot of bulk to the LCR which is already on the wide side due to the wheel. I found myself moving it around on my hip a lot to get a good fit. I was also a little nervous about retention while riding my motorcycle, but that could just be because I'm used to carrying with Kydex. I am going to go with something a little simpler for concealed carry. Pretty bummed, I really wanted to love this holster but it doesn't work for me.

great retention great clip
Depends on what you want: I ride motorcycles and wanted reliable retention and boy does this holster have that. If you want to get at your firearm in a hurry I'd say maybe its not for you.Pros:great retentiongreat clip, which keeps the holster very secure on your beltsoft internal lining to keep the finish on your gunConsa little bulky, but what soft revolver holster isn't? (yeah yeah, you could go kydex but those arent very comfortable)the cut of the holster and the size of my ruger lcr makes it difficult to get a firm draw-grip quicklyGreat little holster, but again it depends on what you want. I wanted retention and leather pretty much over anything else.

OK ,leather holster in it's price range. But...
The very tight sharp edged clip will destroy a regular leather dress belt very fast. The holster is difficult to put on and off due to the tight clip. I also found this holster to be very uncomfortable, especially when sitting. I am 6.0 feet tall/190 lbs ,size 42 waist, and 15 lbs overweight, my relatively slight "love handles" really take a bruising when I sit down with this holster. On positive note my Ruger LCR fits snugly, and is easy to un-holster and re-holster. The price is OK,although the leather is not of the best quality. The stitching is very good. I eventually bought a FALCO holster after I wore the Cardini holster for awhile, custom made in the Czech Republic. That holster is twice the price of the Cardini ,however it is a superior product in design and comfort. The Cardini holster is a good deal at the price. I suppose if I lost 20lbs, it would be less uncomfortable to wear!

Nice color, great craftsmanship, strong belt clip.
I bought this holster for a Taurus Ultra Lite 856 .38 Special. The 856 is a newer version of the 85 but loads 6 rounds. Although this holster is designed for Ruger LCR it fits the Taurus 856 perfectly. It's very snug but the belt clip is so strong that even without a belt you get a positive draw without fear of the holster coming out of your pants with the gun. Color and quality of the leather and stitching is excellent. You could pay three times as much and still feel you got your money's worth on this holster.

Outstanding holster, Outstanding price
I was hesitant to say the least. I had never heard of Cardini Leather, but I am very glad I found them on Amazon. My initial thoughts were the leather looks and feels great! The stiching was done very well and the clip is one of the best I have had the privilage of using. It took a little while for my LCRX to fit properly, this is to be expected with a brand new holster. Now that the leather is broken in (naturally, I do not use leather conditioners), this thing wears so well, you can almost forget your carrying! I will definately be buying a Cardini again, and highly reccomend it!
