Grande Epicure M6502108 Polypropylene 10 by 13-1/2 by 8-1/2mm Utility Board, Red

This is one of four different color Grande Epicure cutting boards I purchased. After extensive research, this cutting board seemed like a good choice. I was concerned about the thickness of the board based on the boards it replaced and because of negative comments about the thickness. Based on a couple of months of using the board, I can't see any reason for the concern about its thickness. There is no way that this board can bend and I can't imagine wearing through the board.This board does not stain and is very easy to clean. So far everything rinses off easily before cleaning with soap and water. There is minimal scoring from knives. I haven't needed to sharpen knives any more frequently than I had to with the boards it replaced.

For the price point, this isn't a terrible cutting board, but it has an overall cheap feel, look, and is a bit soft so it's easily cut and scratched.The most disappointing thing is the molded-in liquid groove. It's way too shallow and narrow to be of much use, so why bother? I'm guessing it might hold between 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of liquid IF the cutting board were perfectly level and not moved. Worse, the groove is so small that's it's actually hard to clean.When this one wears out, I probably won't order another and will look for a different brand next time.

We use different cutting boards for different food items to prevent cross contamination. Red is for red meat. We picked this cutting board because it had ridges on the side, which is great for catching juices from the meat. The ridges are helpful, but we were hoping they were a little wider and deeper. We still get overflow from the meat and some spillage onto the counter. It may be better for vegetables or poultry, but we will not buy again for red meat.

This board is too cute. I love using it and it's easy to clean. My only complaint is that the material is a bit soft, which means you will leave slice marks in it. Other then that, it's great.

Like the board, and the size makes it very easy to put in the dishwasher . I am going to order another. It doesn't retain germs or bacteria...I can wash it with vinegar, bleach, whatever and not worry about ruining it. Can be used for juicy fruits or veggies, but the ridge is not deep enough to hold the juice from chicken or meat.

I bought one of these in every color and have been very pleased! The color coordination allows me to specialize the use of the boards for specific tasks (green for veggies, red for meats, blue for poultry and purple for fruits, etc) and their small size is large enough for the task and compact enough to fit into the dishwasher.

Nice color, works well on top of island. Wish it was just a little bit bigger ...
