Atom Quad Wheel Bag

I absolutely love this bag! I’ve had it for years now and never did a review on it, but I’m so glad I bought it when I did! Great for roller derby, or just storing for extra skate wheels!Definitely recommend buying!

Nice quality. Both the top and bottom panel are clear. I can fit a full set of 8 outdoor gummy wheels- the SureGrip Boardwalk 62 mm wheels- with just barely enough room to also fit my Y3 skate took on top. Of course smaller wheels fit with room to spare. One thing that is a little slower is changing wheels on the fly- because you have to stack the wheels in this bag, you need a bigger surface to put all your wheels on while changing. As opposed to the long/narrow style radar bag, where you can pull out a new wheel, put in one from the skate. Pull out the next, put in the next from the skate, and so on, without having to make a second stack on a table to wait for the bag to empty before packing it back up. But, I doubt most people are changing wheels as often as I do! I like that the thin handle on top fits in a standard safety pin. I keep one of these on my wheel bags for removing bearing shields and getting sand and hair out of junked up bearings.

I ordered this to mostly have a bag to hold my wheels when I switch between indoor and outdoor stuff, since I use my skates for either outdoor general skating or rink skating. I liked this one at initial glance because you could see in the bag to know what's in there, since the top is clear. I wasn't disappointed.The wheel sizes I use vary from 57mm-65mm, 98a-78a. The bag holds the largest 65mm, 78a wheels comfortably, with a little space left at the top and sides, and the smaller wheels still sit well. I keep my Powerdyne Y-tool with me in my bag, and these wheel bags actually have enough space to hold that at the top or bottom of the bag, even with the larger, thicker outdoor wheels, so you can actually consolidate items nicely.The construction is great, the plastic sides and top are thick and feel solid. I haven't had any issues with the zipper, and the top handle material is solid and holds up well. The HUGE bonus to this is the clear top, so you don't have to guess what you have in the bag.I will definitely be getting a few more of these, I only bought the one to see how it would work, and am happy enough with it that I'll use it for all my wheels.

I like this bag. My big, gummy outdoor Moxi wheels fit perfectly in here. I like the clear top and bottom so you can see which wheels are inside. It did initially come with a slash through the plastic on the bottom, but I was able to easily return it and get a replacement days later that had no damage to it. I approve. I would buy again for my next set of wheels :)

This wheel back is a perfect fit for 8 quad wheels. It’s got a window lid to quickly identify the contents and a great carrying handle.

What do i like, I love my wife. I am her chief derby mechanic. These bags keep all the untold number of wheels together in the types of sets she likes. Pusher sets, puller, speed, out door, the grungy out door, the bowl wheels the list goes on.So if you are a husband, SFO, partner of a derby dame, these bags will hold your sanity together till the alcohol kicks in.
