I just received a lamp and like the sturdiness of the stand. Got a bit confused and thought the lamp is out of order as it didn't work when I plugged it in. On further inspection lamp has identical input sockets for the cord from both ends - so on my first try I put it in the wrong end. Will update my review in about a month when I see growth results.2/24/16 I'm upgrading my review to 5 stars - love the way my plants look with the help of this grow light - the difference in appearance is remarkable. Leaves are greener and broader and the plant stems stopped being leggy trying to grow in the direction of the window. I leave the light on for approximately 14 hours a day.

Great head start to spring garden!
This is a great light and I love that the light can be adjusted to grow with your plants. I got the 4 foot one, and in retrospect, I should have gotten two of the smaller ones since I didn't picture in my head how long 4 feet actually is when trying to fit it on a counter or table. My fault completely! So I have it on the ground nourishing my baby vegetable plants and giving me a nice head start on my spring garden. It was so easy to put together and is light weight, yet seems very durable. Avoid looking at the light for too long or you will see purple for a while!

(Updated) Light not working out of the box
Easy to set up, but one section of the 4 foot light was out completely. Brand new light and it's alrighty defective. Not happy with this quality, however overall it would be great if the whole light is working.Will contact the seller to see if they will send a new light.EDIT: Seller sent a brand new (working) light. Took about a week though. Appreciate the customer service. So far working great for tomatoe seedlings.

Nice system
Great light system. It could use better hooks as the light fixture gets bumped off easily. I can fix that with small carabiner hooks. It adjusts easily, and was super easy to put together. The inline switch is band has you don't have to unplug the whole thing every day. This really helped my g Arden seeds germinate.

Psrts missing second round.
After reading reviews indicating missing parts, I decided to order anyway. Mistake on my part. Sure enough, the clamps necessary to attach hooks to light were missing. I engineered hangers to attach. Still evaluating performance as a grow light. Will advise.Received hooks, not needed, not the brackets to hook to. Could have bee avoided if they had been packaged with the light.

Love it! Exactly as advertised
Love it! Exactly as advertised. Thought I was missing the clips to hold the light bar, but they were in a little bag inside the cardboard tube. It is very tall, and had to make some adjustments in my greenhouse to fit in the area, so keep that in mind when purchasing. Otherwise it is perfect and I love it.

Great Grow Light and Fantastic sellers
Not only does this grow light work like a charm, I was missing the electrical cord so I contacted the seller and said that i wasnt sure if it wasnt included or that I had lost it.They sent me one at NO cost shortly after my call!!! How cool is that?!?This grow light is fantastic, and soon my seedlings will be ready for the great outdoors. Im so happy with this I should get another one

Love this little light for my indoor garden! Keeps my succulents happy and healthy and works great! Would totally buy again.Edit: bought my second about a month later. Love this grow light!!
