Shiny hair dog approves
I have been giving my dog fish oil of various varieties for years and he loves it! My first type, I found out was using farm raised fish, so we dumped it. If I don't want to eat fish that is potentially full of mercury, why should i make my dog? Exactly. The second type was great, but the price suddenly sky-rocketed. It was worth the old price, but when I saw $65 for a 32 oz. bottle, I had to change up again.Another one caused atomic gas that I will not let the government know about because it could have been used as a weapon. That one was out too. Enter this fish oil.First of all, my dog loved it! Although, my dog is not picky for one second, so that may not be the best test I can do. Over the weekend, I also put some on my client's food. I am a professional pet sitter. The dog I was sitting is pickier and he also ate his food with great enthusiasm. He is not usually that type of eater, as he is more of a grazer. That was a great sign to me!Since I have only been using this product for a few days, I can't say what is done for my boy's coat yet. He is a beautiful, shiny balck and white dog, and his coat has not lost any of the luster I have come to expect. It may be too early to tell with this product, but I am optimistic. He has had no gas, atomic or otherwise while using it. He eats a salmon dog food and gets fish treats, so he always smells a little fishy, but nothing terrible or that most people notice. Some people (groomers, other dog owners, maybe even my vet) will say that fish oil cuts down on shedding. I have a border collie/ Australian cattle dog mix and he sheds non-stop. The breed standard says these types of dogs only really shed twice a year....but I am convinced each season lasts 6 months. Fish oil has not stopped shedding, nor have I noticed that it has slowed it down, but the hair I sweep up sure is shiny.***If, for any reason, my review changes, I will let you know.

This has been great for our senior dogs.
Our vet recommended a fish oil supplements for our 9 year old English Bulldog and 14 year old Cockapoo. She said that omega 3 fish oil, dha, epa and vitamin E are good for their skin, joints, heart and immune system. Since we were already mixing a little water into their dry food, it has been easy to add this supplement too . The dogs must really like it because they always finish every bit of their food. Our cockapoo can be very finicky and sometimes walks away from her food, however she licks her bowl clean every meal that has the oil mixed in. The 16 oz bottle lasts a good while since our bulldog just gets 1 squirt a day and our cockapoo only gets 1/2 a squirt. I think the oil is helping both dogs. I get lots of compliments on our Bulldog’s coat. Skin problems are common in Bulldogs, but Cadence’s skin and fur are in excellent condition. Ginger’s coat has improved too. She used to chew on her paws often, but since we started the oil, she rarely does it. The only thing that I don’t like about this fish oil is that the pump occasionally drips a little bit. I’ve started putting a little paper towel under the bottle in the fridge so it isn’t a a real problem.

Great for animals with itchy, dry skin
I am seeing real results with this product. We have more animals than anyone you will ever encounter. They are all rescues and they come to us with all kinds of issues due to lack of care or just a rough life in general. We have a few that were literally chewing their fur off in large sections because their skin was so dry. Even shots from the vet's office and pills did not help. They eat high-end food, but obviously needed something more. I drizzle this over the food bowls and stir the food around so it gets spread more evenly. (If you do this, be sure to not add too much). In less than two weeks, I am seeing less scratching and those bald spots starting to fill in with new fur. Their actual skin underneath looks healthier. I am also noticing dandruff going away on one kitty who has always had a chornic issue with that. Overall, I am seeing much shinier coats as well. Lastly, I add this every few days to our dogs' food. It is great for lubricating joints and esp. helpful for elderly animals. When paired with glucosamine, I am seeing better mobility in our oldest dog, who is 15. Over time, all research indicates this helps retain cognitive abilities and brain function. My vet confirmed this. So I am now making this part of our preventative/maintenance routine. (Animals suffer from dementia, just like people, when they get older). I have used other fish oils in the past and this is the only one I have seen results from. I am an animal welfare author/rescuer and cannot (will not) recommend a product that I wouldn't reorder myself.

so far the dogs love it, the cat will not finish her food ...
I just received this Omega 3 fish oil liquid for pets, yesterday, so far the dogs love it, the cat will not finish her food if I put the fish oil on her food. I am disappointed that the cat won't join the dogs and enjoying better health. I haven't had time yet to see the benefits of this pure high quality fish oil can do for my 10 year old dogs, but I have high hopes. I love that it comes in liquid form with a pump! One squirt in the dogs food-- what could be easier! Ordering was easy, it came when expected; however I am concerned that it sat at my door step for I don't know how long in the 105 degree heat before I discovered it. It does not smell like it is spoiled, but cats are more particular about their food than dogs. I refrigerated it after opening as directed. I guess this a mixed review. I would appreciate a response about the heat issue. Thank you.
