Father's Day to Christmas, still works!
Still works after months, I flick it almost daily because it sits by the door!DON'T REMOVE THE BROWN STICKER IF YOU LIKE HOW IT LOOKS! there is brown covering sticker and tbh it looked better with it on it. I accidentally took off the top one without thinking and it was a pain to take it off near the screws. Use something to take it off near the screws if you must.

I keep this on my desk at work as a conversation piece. Well worth the money. Not a fan of the paper covering that came on it. I thought I could just peel it off but you actually have to remove the screws to get it all up. That was a little annoying but I still love this stupid thing.

Do not buy
Looked fine, the brown paper is apparently the “film” that you’re supposed to take off to reveal the smooth black exterior, INCREDIBLY difficult to take off, and for no reason too, it looks fine with the brown on it. Once the batteries were put in the machine didn’t work- until we turned it upside down. It ONLY works when you flip it upside down but of course in doing so, the door swings open on its own and you see all the mechanisms inside not a cute little plastic knob turning itself off.

Does what it says, and is very entertaining.
Great product and YES, absolutely USELESS! I've been pushing the switch for about 20 minutes and it hasn't gotten old yet. Cane assembled, but a few screws were a little loose, not a big deal. I snugged them down before installing the batteries.

It's not horrible
"DIY assembled" in the title means "DIY assembly required" with tiny screws and nuts. The instructions aren't super clear and the hole for the battery holder screw is not in the correct spot. Also, it's way too quick to react. It needs to give a second so that you don't still have your finger on the switch when it's trying to push it the other way.
