Good belt , it may have some slight build problems but it does keep you in the correct position for lifting . and the XL size is a real bargain , !!!It sounds like a lot of these reviewers are novice lifters and don't know much about belts , Also the more I use this belt the better it feels because that is how you break a belt in you wear it when you do heavy lifting, also you wear the belt snug not tight ,it provides excellent support , if it is to tight you can cause yourself a nice injury Now if it holds up I will be a happy bastigh !!! I would recommend this belt to anyone doing powerlifting and Olympic lifting , I do both and find it works great for both forms of weight lifting !! I am adding some more info on this EXCELLENT lifting belt it is holding up and breaking in everytime I use it for power and Olympic lifts , I really don't think you could buy a better belt than this unit I am a very happy customer !!!

I've had this belt for a month and it's been very solid until recently. The belt has started tearing on the inside on the edge as well as within the holes that I clip to.Wearing the belt felt very good, but I'm hoping I can get some customer support regarding the tearing of the belt. I have lifted for years but without a belt. I had some bad experiences because I was using the cheap leather belts you normally find at the gym. Then I started getting into powerlifting, and a few years later I got this bad boy. This was hands down the best investment I have ever made with lifting gear. If you do powerlifting, you need a belt like this. Don't go cheap, it's worth the extra money to get a quality belt.

Ok... I've had the belt for a week. Sold quality construction. The hardware is heavy duty. Stitching is uniform and tight. The belt is breaking in nicely. Should hold up for a while. seems on par with belts that cost twice as much.

So far it's been a great belt. Still breaking it in, but it provides plenty of support during deadlifts and squats. I haven't gone super heavy with it yet, but squats in the low 400 lb. range have been very comfortable; likewise deadlifts in the upper 400 lb. range have been great with it as well. I have never used a thick belt like this before, as I get more used to it, the more I like it.Highly recommended.

When it first arrives, the Grizzly Belt is stiff. Also, with a 10mm thickness, it will probably take time to break in. What I do like about this belt was that it was offered in big sizes. If I buy another belt, I'll probably get it with 6mm thickness, so it easier to break in and more snug around the waist.

Solid belt. Very well built. Took a few hours of rolling to break it in, but the edges are nicely burnished... so even stiff it's still workable. Not sure what more you could want in a belt. Made in Canada. Super-thick. Fits as expected.

Really like my purchased Grizzly 13mm belt. Nice and the firm, great for supporting your back and abs when lifting heavy loads. I would have given the belt 5 stars except that the tip of the belt is peeling back some where it is layered and fixed to other leather layers. It can be glued. No big deal, but it should not be peeling back at all.

My bf loves it!Even though it is really stiff at the beginning, it became softer later, which is good, it won't give bruise anymore (just a little).According to my bf, his weight lifting achieves a high new level thanks to this belt.

Great belt for power lifts. It does of course come fairly stiff,I suggest rolling it tightly and wedging is somewhere over night for the first few weeks. After that you are golden!

Great belt for what it is. Be aware that it's very stiff so if you have weak hands it's going to give you trouble... but what are you doing buying this belt if you have weak hands? It is bulky though and will take up a lot of room in your bag.Very happy with the transaction and construction though... this thing is going to outlive me.

It's an okay belt for the price ! a) Plusses are the thickness and wideness of the belt (like Power lifting belt) + price b) Minus is the stiffness of the belt. Make it difficult to put on and off

Couple weeks in and so far I love it! Very happy with this product and I strong recommend it. The comments about wrong size is stupid. Just buy the right size....
