This made it VERY SIMPLE to understand the MOST IMPORTANT LESSONS JESUS TAUGHT. Elementary school age kids will be able to understand as well.

I've done several of these studies with my online group. I found the group through the Precept website during the lockdown and adore the people I've met from across the country. The studies are fantastic and focus on examining scripture verses and interpreting it by comparing to other scripture verses. The layout of the study is also good if you're unable to complete it beforehand. The "no homework" aspect helps me breathe easier as a special needs homeschool mom. I can still participate and get a lot out of the study just by listening as our group goes through it.

This study has been great for our small group since we wanted to dig deeper into scripture without requiring homework. But sometimes the questions are a little simplistic, and make me wonder if I'm missing some deeper meaning. The Wrap It Up section at the end of each lesson is very helpful, and I wish she would include more of those guiding insights throughout the study. But all in all, the practice of really looking at each work of the verses and what they mean has been a good one, and I wouldn't have done it quite like that without this book.

Good study guide with good format which resulted in rich discussions. The Old Testament should be understood by how the New Testament explains it and sometimes I felt this guide got it backwards by heavy use of the Psalms (OT) to explain Matthew 5 (NT).

This is a fantastic bible study! I recommend it to anyone wanting to do a good study with a group or by yourself.

I am a huge fan of Kay! Her precept studies have helped me in my faith. However you don't always have time for the homework...this study is perfect for a small group looking to not do homework but still have an in-depth study. I highly recommend it!

We did a couples study and have really enjoyed it 2weeks left but awesome so far!

Excellent book - using it as part of an informal Bible Study at Church. Helps you to think more about the actual meaning of the Beatitudes.
