I recently bought an inexpensive leather handbag that arrived feeling stiff, dry, and carrying an unusually gamey scent. After watching the product video I carefully tested a small dab - all looked well. It was extremely easy to apply and the video mentioned that with this product, a little goes a long, long way. After thoroughly applying the product slowly all over the leather parts of the bag, the color seemed deeper, the bag had a nice gloss, and the driest parts on the bottom seemed smoother and more supple. No residue, tiny amounts used so great value, and the leather now smells fantastic! Hoping it will help with scratch resistance, too.

This stuff is great! Use gloves (like latex) and it works wonders. Very easy to spread, doesn't smell bad and leather soaks it up beautifully. It fills the drying wrinkles, giving leather that beautiful , smooth shine. No stickiness, nice longevity and lasting protection. Couldn't be more pleased!

Brand new notebook. That's how great this product is. I was recently gifted the passport Travelers Notebook and, having owned a regular sized one that is looking a bit weathered, immediately thought to purchase this in order to properly care for it. What I didn't know was how well it was going to restore my brown leather journal. In one picture I applied the balsam to only half of the cover and the difference is definitely noticeable, if not so much on the picture then definitely in person. The second picture is the entire cover applied. I would however recommend getting a smaller container if this is something you'll use sparingly or if you don't have a ton of leather to use this on as the 200ml/6,7oz container is quite large and a small bit on application goes a long way. The sponge it comes with doesn't seem to be anything special but definitely gets the job done well. As described, it does darken the surface a bit. However, I find the renewed, darker look more appealing. It assuredly will take years off whatever you'll apply it to. Overall extremely pleased with how well it works; How beautiful it makes the leather look, both in rejuvenating an old journal and in conditioning a brand new one. Definitely worth the price paid.

Don't normally write reviews, but hopefully this will help someone! We bought this for our cognac tan pure aniline leather sofa (essentially untreated leather). It was our first time applying a conditioner to the couches, about 4 months after we purchased them. It definitely provided the result we expected - the couches aren't sticky after waiting 24 hours for it to soak in. No need for us to wipe any residue off. It barely darkened the color of the leather, and less than I expected. HOWEVER: it takes so much patience and hand energy to apply, even with the provided sponge - it took me 2.5 hours to do two 80" sofas, and I used almost the entire 6.7 ounce container. I think we will be trying the otterwax oil next time since it looks much easier to apply. Hope this helps someone!

Totally restored my beautiful leather section. We have three kids and two dogs; one who is a giant, hairy and slobbery mess. Both dogs are allow on the furniture regardless and they definitely drag in their fair share of dirt, drool, slim and grim. This is a well used and loved on piece of furniture. It is 4 years old now and the basic leather cleaner/ conditioner combo simply isn’t cutting it anymore. The leather was getting dry, dingy and brittle even after cleaning. It is now soft and supple again; almost as good as new! I recommend applying liberally, letting it sit for 30 minutes, then buffing out the excess with a clean dry cloth. Love it!

I read somewhere this is a good product. I agree. It’s definitely the best I’ve found for my leather sofa.

This product worked excellent went on smooth, not greasy, no smell and made my 35yr old leather jacket smooth and soft like butternut cream. The sponge applicator works well with smooth leather but my jacket had a rougher texture so I just used a pair of rubber gloves like the Dr's office uses and rubbed it in and it went on good and you just need a little bit. The jar is not that big but it did not take much for my leather jacket to come back glistening and with rich color and the product works as good as a professional clean. Use rubber gloves and rub it in and you will be amazed how far you can go and not waste most of the product on applicators and sponges depending on what you're conditioning this product hands down is the best I have seen on renewing leather to a lustrous soft amazing richness and looking mew again.

Har använt Renapur balsam i många år. Perfekt resultat på skor och väskor. Det räcker med lite balsam. Skinnet får bra glow och blir mjukt och följsamt. Fint att det följde med en liten svamp.

L’ho utilizzato su una poltrona di pelle di 45 anni. Non ho le foto del prima e del dopo , ma il risultato è stato straordinario! È tornata nuova! Un bracciolo era particolarmente rovinato, ed è quasi apposto! Il profumo è delicato e ne basta pochissimo . La userò anche su borse e capi di abbigliamento. La consiglio!
