Qualsen Office Magnets 50 Pack, Heavy Duty Round Refrigerator Whiteboard Locker Magnets (Black)

Excellent for project boards as well as refrigerators
I bought these to use on a magnetic white board used for project tracking. Each color would represent a type of activity. For this purpose these magnets were perfect. The 10 distinct colors (none mistakable for another color) gave me the options I needed. I bought two packages for a total of 100 individual magnets. With the exception of one magnet that had two small streaks of a darker shade of its color, all colors where consistent (e.g., all the purples were the same shade of purple) and as advertised. Also, all the magnets were uniform size and shape (round). As for the strength of the magnets, I need to point out I did not intend them to hold anything. However, I did strength tests and found that a random sample of ten magnets out of the 100 were each able to hold the following without sliding:* Up to three 5 x 8 inch (12.7 x 20.3 cm) index cards.* Up to three sheets of standard U.S. printer paper: 8.5 x 11-inch (21.6 x 28 cm) 20-pound paper.I also placed all 100 magnets on a magnetic white board: based on the "pull" I felt as I placed each magnet, I was left with the impression that all were of equal strength. This would seem to be verified by my earlier random weight test.As for the purpose for which I had bought these (as representations of project tasks, not as something to hold up paper), these magnets were perfect. A stronger magnet would have been too difficult to move, a weaker one too easily displaced or dislodged. Since these are still strong enough to hold up index cards, I still have that option, too. At slightly smaller than a U.S. quarter (25-cent coin) and with their 10 distinctive colors, these magnets are the IDEAL choice for anyone wanting magnet tokens for a project board. As for quality of construction and durability, each item consists of a colored plastic shell open on the bottom into which a fitted magnetic disk was inserted. In all 100 items, the magnet portion had a tight fit (no gap between magnetic disk and its shell) and was flush with the bottom of the plastic shell. The bottoms of both the magnetic disk and shell are smooth: no burs or edges to scratch the metal surface to which you might affix the magnet. However, since the magnetic disk is metal, I would avoid dragging it across a refrigerator door or other metal surface, just to be safe. I would say that of any magnet. The fit of each magnetic disk in its plastic shell was so tight I could not tell if the disk was held in place by the tight fit alone or if glue was also used. In any event, the tight fit meant there was nothing I could leverage to try to pull the magnet out of its shell. Using a random sample of 10 out of the 100 that I purchased, I dropped the magnets individually from a height of six feet onto a linoleum floor: no magnetic disk was dislodged from its plastic shell. With the exception of the item with two small streaks noted early (1 flaw out of 100 magnets), the construction was perfect. These magnets are strong enough, a low-scratch risk, durable, attractive, and low-cost. All this plus their 10 distinctive colors make them the ideal choice of magnet for a project board. I give them five stars even with the small imperfection noted.

Thought they would be bigger, but it will work

Work well
Nice deal, smaller than I thought but they hold up the kids artwork and don't fall off the fridge.

Good strong magnets for single pieces of paper
These work great for single pieces of paper. Don't use for cardboard or multiple sheets as they are not that strong. But good price and works for my project.

Smaller than I thought they would be.
There are quite a few of these in the package, however, I thought they would be larger. Using them on a magnetic board in a Pre-K classroom gives me a minor concern for a choking hazard.

Fun Magnets
These stick really well BUT I bought for my grandson to play with on the fridge. They are pretty small.

Small, weak magnets!
The quantity is good for the money, but the quality is not! These magnets are not very strong, so they will not hold much weight if being used on a whiteboard. I am only using them as marks on a chart, not to hold papers. My order was filled with four smaller packages all taped together with strong packaging tape! The only way I could open it was to cut all the packaging apart!

Good enough
Not as strong as I had hoped. Good enough though.

Great magnets!
The packaging was a bit challenging to get into but nothing that hinders the product itself. These little magnets are great though! They’re strong enough to hold multiple pieces of my toddlers artwork, but not so strong that I can’t get them off my fridge. The value for money is a wonderful deal, you can’t go wrong with 50 magnets for that price. All in all I’m happy with the product.

Adequate but disrespectful of customer time
The magnet strength is adequate but weaker than I expected. Packaging is absolutely atrocious. Removing the magnet packs from the spiteful tape-up job burned 13 minutes out of my day and left the magnet packs sticky. Profoundly disrespectful of customer time.

Very Weak
These are very weak magnets, not "heavy duty" in any way. I'm not sure they would hold a sheet of paper to a fridge. Very bad quality, do not buy.

Cheep and dirty
They leave hard to remove black resedue on whiteboards and anything else magnets touch also leaves scratches on whiteboard. As well (very minor) but the polarity magnets arnt all facing the same way so the don't stack and they're kinda awkward to use

not bad, not great
For how cheaply made the product seemed the price might have been a tad high, and the descriptor 'heavy duty' is a bit misleading. But all in all, I only needed magnets to hold paper and/or pictures to fridge, and in that sense they did what I needed them to do. (Also, they had come out of their packaging when I opened the envelope, but that wasn't overly disappointing.)
