Excellent card for the money
This really is a great card for the cost. I did some research, and $50 for a video card with 120 stream processors is pretty good. I am currently using Windows Vista 32 Bit. Previously, my windows rating was a 4.3 due to my old video card.I installed this video card, rebooted my computer, uninstalled my old video driver and went online to get the latest driver/video card software for this card (didn't bother using the included disc). After the install was complete, I updated my windows rating and it increased to 4.8. I opened the Catalyst Control Center software that installed with the driver and went to the ATI overdrive feature. I ran the auto tune feature. After rebooting my computer I ran the windows rating again where it was pushed to a 5.0I ran a video stress test with Counter Strike Source and got 88 fps at 1920x1200 through a 24" Dell Ultrasharp monitor. The control center is great for adjusting the contrast and brightness controls for my installed TV tuner. The surface mounted fan is pretty quiet and I didn't have to upgrade my 305 Watt power supply. Overall, I am very happy with this card.I did however run into an issue where Vista's User Protection kept blocking the Catalyst Control Center. If this happens, go to the search area on the start menu and type: "msconfig." Open up the start up tab and un-check the box labeled "CCC". Then OK the changes and restart your computer. Then after the reboot, go back into the search field but this time type "task scheduler." In the task scheduler:-create a new task-in the general tab label it something like CCC-check the box "run with highest privileges"-on the trigger tab begin the task "at log on"-in the actions tab choose "start a program"-then browse for the program "CCC start" that was installed most likely in (C:\program files\ATI technologies\core static\CCC start) and select it.After you find the file, OK out of the task scheduler and reboot. Now the task scheduler should run the CCC with its highest privilege so the User Account Control will not block it.

dead card
This card worked ok for about a month. Then the computer started freezing up, crashing, and not restarting. Event log on the OS and bios didn't indicate anything. Ended up removing the vid card and plugging the monitor directly into the mobo. Now the computer is fine. This Sapphire card was screwing something up.....2/20/09 Update: Beware this company! If you card dies after the amazon warranty period, you have to deal with the company directly. Even though the card has a 2 year warranty, they charge a minimum $15 RMA handling fee, so you're out at least $20 (15 + return shipping) just for them to look at the card. That's almost half the cost of a new card from amazon and you'll likely get a refurbished model with a 90 day warranty. Not worth the hassle. Amazon should stop selling this company's products......4/2/09 Update: Sapphire RMA claims it would void the $15 charge since the card died so quickly. I had to eat $5 to send it to them, but they sent me back a working card. We'll see how this one burns in (so far there has been on seize up). I would change the number of stars for this product (probably 3) but amazon doesn't allow it.

The fan on this card doesn't last very long at all.
Picked up this card almost two years ago, and it is a great card. Easy to install and configure with my monitors, and it's all in all a good card. Though, about a year in (I think this is the warranty limit) the fan on the card started getting REALLY noisy. The card still functions ok, but periodically (sometimes more than others) the fan buzzes really loud and it sounds like my desktop is gonna burn up.Good card, but the fan went bad on mine. Not sure if anyone else has this issue, but mine did. Even with the fan buzzing, I'm still using the card... everything else about it is great.

Good card for the money
I've had this card since September 24th and it has worked beautifully in a dual lcd setup on a business PC. Purchasing this card was a no-brainer as it has two DVI-outs (which is difficult to find in budget cards), and a decent amount of video RAM for under $60.The cooling fan on the card I received differs from the one shown on the item page. Mine just came with a black fan, no blue housing or graphics (not a problem really).Setting up the card was a concern, because I was moving from a nVidia card (and I read horror stories), but installation was simple and no driver conflicts occurred. For the money, this card outperforms many nVidia budget cards, and can play some recent game releases with no problems.I am pleased with this purchase.

Great card...sorry I doubted ATI all these years
Pros: Fast Card, Lots of RAM (512) Low power consumption, slim card, High Performance.Cons: Idles around 50C Load tops at 66C when OC setup is run. The card still blocks one of my PCI slots.Last Word: For the price, nothing beats the performance that is delivered by this card. (What I am really wondering is if this is better than my NVIDIA 7600GT. I mean it does support DX10. But I think it is more about my system...and less about the card's actual capabilities) Overall still nothing beats this card within this price range.

Sapphire Video Card not worth the money!
I purchased this video card on 03.Aug.09 and it began to fail on 15.Sep.09. I was given the run around by the manufacturer's customer 'no-service' only to finally be informed that they would not cover the warranty as the item was not sold directly through their website. While ATI and Radeon products have always been solid in the past, I will never suggest that anyone purchase anything with a Sapphire label.

Great product
This is a very good card, No jerkiness at all when fast scrolling or gaming. I was reluctant to buy anything but a nvidia based card, which I have used for many years, but this one is well built and very sturdy. It booted up with the supplied driver, works great on Vista and Windows 7 os, I reccomend it for everyone. I bought it because I have 2 monitors and I wanted to connect both with DVI cables.Markey
