STC Easy Grow Greenhouse, Green Frame, 6 by 8-Feet

This tiny greenhouse served me very well although if you're using it in a cold area plan of supplemental heating, it simply won't work as a propagation house without a good heater and thermostat. The same goes for ventilation, plan for installing a fan vent, passive is not enough!. The greenhouse took a friend an I two days to complete and was a pain in the rear but it all clicked together. Plan on using silicone on all the gaskets as they will fail in 4-5 years, I wish I had. For the foundation, use a 2x12 treated board, lay it flat on the long edges of the greenhouse, then drill 3 1" holes to drive pipes in to the ground to brace the foundation. I drove pipes as far in as a sledge hammer would manage then bent them over onto the board and secured that bent end with a pipe bracket. Once I had the 2x12 secured to the ground, I secured the greenhouse to 2x12 and it didn't budge for 8 years until I gave the entire thing to my father in-law after building a 100ft greenhouse. ps, use landscape fabric down before you build anything, weeds are not your friend and fighting them instead of propagating is a waste of time.

Bought this Greenhouse, had it up for a short time.Followed assembly instructions, foundation instructionsnot included. We were told to put it on a pebble foundationwith anchors directly in the ground. Last sunday we wereout working in it and went in for lunch, thank God..Whenwe returned it was 15 feet from its orginal location alltwisted up. It could have really injured or killed us.When I called the manufacturer to complain, they were rudeand told me it was our fault and they would not doanything about it. Their warranty is all words..The anchors are very small and the whole greenhouse ischeaply made...Do not buy, safety issues...

We own this exact model 6'x12' greenhouse, purchased from one of the wholesale clubs several years ago and it has survived amazing wind storms and is still standing and is still producing beautifully. We have spinach and lettuce growing in it right now and soon will be starting other vegetables. Addressing a concern of another reviewer, if you follow instructions about anchoring, the greenhouse will stay in place. I took their fine instructions one step further and built a plastic decking floor anchored by concrete-filled builders tubes so we have a well-anchored floor that can take all the water it may get, but never get muddy. We supplemented the built-in climate control with electronic climate controls for heating in cold weather and fans in warm weather. This greenhouse product is of a very durable design which will last well beyond the manufacturer's expected lifespan if erected well and maintained. The semi-transparent, polycarbonate panels have lasted very well, as has the green powder-coated aluminum frame.
