Hygienic Cleansing Lotion, Cleans, Moisturizes, and Hydrates Anorectal Area After Bowel Movement – Good for Daily Use

My wife used to use Balneol lotion until it was no longer carried locally. Tried this and found it equally soothing at a lower cost.

IYH As good as the name brand that starts w B and cheaper. Quality-wise no complaints.Be advised that the dispenser tube is short and stops well before reaching the bottom, as a result I estimate 1/6-1/5 of the content is inaccessible w/o increasingly ineffective shaking maneuvers. The simple solution : Take a pair of good scissors, cut the bottle open about 1 1/4 inch from the bottom width-wise and scoop out the remainder into a second bottle.

This product and ones like it are used on toilet paper to enhance cleanliness after expelling waste. Simultaneously, they provide soothing moisturization of one's anogenital sector. Importantly (for me), they are more environmentally-friendly than personal cleaning wipes, which are made from material that poorly disintegrate and degrade in municipal sewer or septic systems. Moreover, the risk of developing polished anus (It's a thing: look it up) is lower with these cleansing lotions versus wipes. So, that's my overall plug for products like Sanilotion.Sanilotion itself has a mild, pleasant scent (IMHO), and it comes in a convenient pump bottle. It is gentle on the bum. Well, on mine anyway. For optimal results, apply some to your parts before the deed and then use some more after. Sanilotion is comparatively an excellent value, as it is much less expensive per volume than many competing products, such as Balneol (which is the very best butt cleaner lotion, IMHO). So, if you have the piles or an otherwise sensitive anogenital domain that mandates gentle handling, I can confidently recommend Sanilotion to enhance and improve post elimination clean-up and comfort.

I bought this when I couldn't find the product I had been using. I liked this just as much, if not more. The scent is not too strong and the pump bottle is very convenient. I like the consistency, which I though was a little thicker than that other product. It's a much better value.

I have been using Balneol for as long as I can remember. It is a superior product and have no complaints except when I use it I keep thinking how expensive it is although worth it. I realized my Balneol Is becoming unaffordable especially since they rated their prices. I’m tired of scraping out every last drop like it’s liquid gold. I saw some reviews and decided to take my chances with Sanilotion and very happy I did. I can’t really tell the difference except it’s a different but pleasing scent. The texture is rich the bottle is big the pump is convenient. I’m sorry Balneol but I have officially switched over to Sanilotion.

I mean. They keep ordering it, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Same as the other butt lotions. Seems to keep ‘em happy.

This does perfectly what it is supposed to do and with the size and pump we use it everywhere instead of Balneol. The problem is with the pump. We have bought many of these and the pump ALWAYS stops working when you are about 2/3 of the way through the bottle - maybe even less. It has been consistent every time. We like and need the product so we continue to buy it - but it would be very much better if they fixed this so it allows total use of the whole container. We cut open the last one when it failed and it was almost still half full.

It does a good finishing up job and there is no chaffing friction after effects. Still pricey but better than the more expensive stuff.

I USE A TOUCH OF CORN STARCH AFTERWARDS GENTLY. i ALSO FOUND THE USE OF A SITZ BATH WITH SMALL AMOUNT OF EPSOM SALTS FOR 15 MINUTES 1-3 TIMES A DAY.

Works good. The only problem there is a lot left behind. Have to take the pump out and shake it. Over work in the clean up

Been using this after surgery and its effective for sanitasing the area, free me of itch and cleans. Not so overly scented not sticky or oily, quality is very good. Highly recommended.

J'aurais mieux aimé si ce produit était sans parfum ou fragrance, c'est ce que je croyais en l'achetant. Mais il est efficace pour ceux qui tolère le parfum, même léger. Dans votre annonce c'est écrit vis-à-vis ''Parfum : Sans parfum''. Je n'avais pas remarqué que sur la photo du produit figurait les mots : Légèrement parfumé...Merci de me rembrouser. En plus, mon problème ano-rectal s'est aggravé :(
