NORTIV 8Men's Military Tactical Work Boots Side Zipper Leather Motorcycle Combat Boots Trooper(6-8 Inches)

For the money I am not sure these can be beat. They are durable and comfortable. Trying different sizes through Amazon I was able to find the one I liked best. Terrific boots. Only negative is that I had to change the laces as the originals were too long and that is a problem if you ride motorcycles.

My arches have fallen (flat feet). In short, not good. Our good US Navy saw no issue putting a very flat-footed individual on an 8-story aircraft carrier for 4 years. Anyway... Finding boots/shoes that work is nearly impossible and these boots are fantastic, right out of the box. The heavy-duty zipper makes things much easier coming and going, the internal arch support is amazing, the toe box is big enough to wiggle my toes and I can walk my dogs 1.5-2 miles daily without arch pain. I also wear Nortiv snow boots which have very similar arch support that led me to try these boots. They are also warmer than I expected and feel extremely durable. I will post an update if my experience doesn't align with my expectations after wearing them for a while.Update: after one month, they feel even better. In fact, they are so good at ordered the black pair so I could have a pair to work in and walk the dogs without messing the suede pair up, because they are a sharp looking boot that I started wearing to work in a business environment. Note that I had also purchased the Nike boots that are very similar to them and while the Nike boots are comfortable, they do not match the fit and support of these boots. When I lace them, I do so with force, as tight as possible, and they keep my weak and damaged ankles extremely secure. Two weeks ago, while walking the dogs on an asphalt path, I wiped out on a stretch of ice, kind of a contorted version of the splits on the way down, while wearing the black boots. When I got back on my feet, my left ankle was a little sore, but I have no doubt that if I had not had those boots on, laced tightly, it would’ve been a short walk back home or more like a hobble back home, but I was able to quickly walk off the soreness, and after a half a mile, I didn’t even know it happened.I will update this if I see where, in wear issues with either pair. For now, they give me tremendous confidence that my ankles are secure, and tremendous comfort! Note that I also wear them with very thick wool socks which also add to the comfort and our fantastic if you have neuropathy as I do. Either way, you cannot go wrong with these boots for the price. They are far better than the military boots I was issued while serving.UPDATE: At walking 2-4 miles a day, I put approximately 800 miles on the black pair before they began breaking down. The Nike boots I bought broke down after half that period of wear. I have no problem replacing $60 boots after 800 miles. The boot itself did not tear or show signs of wear and tear, but my pronating ankles pushed the insides of the soles out after that period, eliminating the support needed for multi-mile walks. The zippers still work perfectly and the boots still look great and are fine for casual wear. This is a very solid product. Highly recommend.

The boot was comfortable, left boot works like a dream. Right boot however....well the heel somehow got a hole in it and I guess my heel ate into the foam underneath. And it started to hurt to use the boot. So I'm like okay well I'll just put a gel heel thing. I mean I didn't pay that much for these things so I'm like okay. Whatever. So about a couple of days ago I get this fantastic idea to hey let's edge the concrete pathway to my house. All I have is a shovel. So I'm like ehh screw it manual labor...that's what these boots are made for right. Well I angle my shovel and kick into it using the boot. And bam the little metal support thing that's underneath the orange sole breaks and now the right shoe has a hump inside it. So I'm like whatevwr screw it. Let's just rip it all out. And put in new soles. So now I have the gel heel cup, that orange insole, and now a Dr Scholl's heavy duty insole in it as well.Point of the review. Great price, they look great, but the durability is seriously lacking. And just a heads up I work retail. So i wasn't really putting too much wear on them.Updated 01/27/25 review, customer service team reached out to me and offered me a full refund for the inconvenience. they were very nice and professional about the issue and also offered to send me a new pair at no charge. i had already purchased replacement boots so unfortunately i didn't need the replacement. good company that did their part to correct and issue.

This is the 2nd time I have ordered this brand for work. The last time was in 2022. I love them. We are issued boots, or can order them and be reimbursed for them. All boots I have ever been issued never lasted more than a year. My last pair of the NORTIV 8 lasted me 2 years. I wear these boots daily for my job so they aren't just a boot that gets work for a few days at a time. They shine up nice from the start and are very comfortable. I won't lie, I still put in Dr. Sholl's Gel inserts because I like the extra support and a lot of times I spend over 16-18 hours on my feet. The only reason I had to replace these, is because with the harsh NY winters and the salt, the sole of one of the boots cracked and started to let in moisture. Not only that, but the cost of these boots was less than our department pays for the boots they supply us with. I hope this helps someone else looking for a good pair of boots.

These were my first boots I bought for airsoft. Definitely very high quality. I don't slip in these no matter what terrain I'm in during airsoft games. These saved my ankles so many times, I bought them last year and these are still in perfect condition! Great protection for your feet, excellent for airsoft. The materials are high quality and feel great! Would definitely buy again.
