Very nice and smooth, heavy duty. I saw that other's had problems with the instructions but honestly if you can't figure out how to put this together (super easy) chances are the person next to you can.

Merchant shipped immediately and arrived the next day. Unfortunately, that is about all the positive I have to say. Horrible directions, and by that I mean the directions included was about six pictures. No written directions.... Most sliding barn door hardware contains lags that screw directly into studs, this has a weird wall anchor, one of which stripped out completely- and so there was much creativity to get this to work. The track has predrilled holes, which really does not work given local code varies as to distance between studs. Most of these kits allow for you to drill the track holes based on yourhome's construction. Bottom line, I figured I'd try this since it was only $130. Well, these is a reason most decent kits are $300 plus. I cannot recommend this- it's the proverbial "buy cheap, get cheap" scenario.

Yes I needed 18 feet just wish both ends were made to hook together. would have the job much easier thank you Lewis Tyler
