Loved the running boards, BUT
I absolutely loved these running boards, and my mechanic said I made a great choice because they would never rust. True, however, the paint has been peeling off terribly, just recently, they have been on my truck for a little over 1 year. So, now I have to have them scraped off, primed and repainted. Like I said I really like this item, but very disappointed in the paint peeling. I did contact seller and there was a 5 year warranty on the item, so all I had to do was send them pictures and they are replacing these running boards.

Well worth the money.
At our ages and physical capabilities, this almost monster truck was just too tall for ease of ingress and egress. Wife had a stool that I had to run around and put down and then pick up every time she mounted or dismounted. These steps are a tad higher than her stool was, but very sturdy. Pretty easy to use. One suggestion to the manufacture or packaging department. There are two different sizes of washers. Both will go on the smaller bolts, but the smaller washers will not go on the larger bolts. They are very close in size and require close inspection to detect the difference. Package them separately for idiots who don't read the instructions carefully enough (like me). Fairly easy to put together. THeir recommendation to have a second person around to assist is a good one. I was able to get it done by myself, but did require a second pair of hands to hold up one end when installing the running board onto the truck after initial assembly. Also, design suggestion. the "install anyplace in the slot and slide to where you need them, twist into place" "T" bolts are tricky. Overall, good purchase, happy with product, and especially happy that I no longer have to run around the truck with a stool.

Fit and finish is perfect
These steps look great on my truck. Seem like they will hold up well. They do flex a little with my body weight, but I am also 240 lbs. The powder coating looks great, and being aluminum, I was able to install by myself in about an hour. An electric impact or screw gun is a must when assembling these since there are so many nuts, bolts, and screws to install

Caution - 106 Bolts to Assemble and Install - Tedious and Time Consuming
I made the mistake of assuming this was a one piece unit ready to install on my 2016 F-250. The manufacturer uses a T-Slot Track System to assemble the rail, steps and brackets. The OEM steps came off by removing 18 bolts, the installation of the new step is tedious and slow involving a 106 separate bolts. The system comes with 350+ bolts, washers and nuts. The 40 T-Slot nuts have a very shallow cut in the end and you need to hold them in the correct position while you tighten the nuts with a wrench a quarter turn at a time. The cut is very hard to hold the small screwdriver in but if you don't hold the T-Bolt in the right orientation it won't lock, it is a pain when you have to lay upside down under the truck and do this to connect the step to the brackets. Brackets could be sturdier they flex slightly when you step on the runner. I thought these would be installed in under an hour and it ended up taking close to 3 hours of tedious work with MANY small bolts.

Pretty easy to install and look amazing
Honestly, pretty easy to put together. I sat on my living room floor and put em all together, added everything to the brackets before we packed em down to install. Made it a hell of a lot easier. Took maybe two hours from start to finish. Absolutely love them!

Read the directions and install the steps before you mount them on the truck!
Contrary to my wife’s opinion I can read directions!I was glad I did.If you follow the directions they go way better!Also... either use yours or borrow your neighbors ¼” impact gun.1hr tops is all it should take.

Nice
Good looking boards. Little more assembly than I expected. And I second being careful about overtightening but they do include plenty of extra bolts
