This book is fantastic.Applying these methods I have seen a drop in my resting heart rate of 22bpm.Definitely a worth while investment.Takes away the guess work when structuring training.

Detailed study on fight game conditioning
I have studied strength and conditioning for many years and there has always been a large focus on the strength aspect. This book addresses the conditioning side of the fight game in detail. This book was recommended to me by Phil Daru and I wish I had found it sooner.You need to read the full book to get the most out of it there is no short cutting this level of information. Each section flows nicely into the next and sets you up by the end with the information to start putting that knowledge into practice. The only thing I would say is needed is a stack of post it notes to mark the summary pages!

Worth every penny if you're serious about conditioning for any sport, not just MMA
Genuinely outstanding book. I know there's a lot of muppets writing fake reviews out there, but I can promise you... the hype is real with this one. Coach Jamieson is a game-changer and an absolute geeza! 👍

The premier resource for energy systems and conditioning modalities
Great resource for understanding energy systems and training them. Despite the name, this has uses vastly beyond just MMA conditioning. The principles work for any type of athlete or everyday person. Highly recommend Joel's course - Certified Conditioning Coach too.

A harder read, but worth every penny.
After hearing from the likes of Brock Larson, and Rich Franklin personally that they have never been in better shape then when they trained with Joel, and that he is the man in the S&C world, I looked no further.It took some many and multiple reads before I understood the concepts and programming, but when I did I put it to use. A Div-2 All American wrestler turned pro mma fighter and myself agreed after 11 weeks of Joel's methods, we had never been in better shape in our lives. And for us, especially my friend, that is saying a lot.After that I took the time to understand more biochemistry and exercise Physiology. I then came back to Joel's book, highlighter and notebook in hand for one more read through. I got more out of this 175 pages, than I thought possible.Joel doesn't just throw stuff at the wall and see what sticks. It's all backed by evidence, scientific studies, biological facts, and his own personal findings with clients over the years.If you're serious about your conditioning, this book is worth every single penny. And the longer you wait to get your hands on it, the longer you're keeping yourself from being in the best shape possible.
