These are fantastic and help hold the water in . I wish I knew about them before. I put them in the ground and mulching right over them so you really don't see them. PERFECT

I used these to isolate the water for 13 trees in the yard. They were an easy install. I like how they have some small flat teeth on the bottom that you can use to wiggle them into place, and they remove a bit more dirt for a deeper fit. I'd like to send a thank you to Tom Shappie, the president, who brought me out a single ring to my house when I inquired into getting a single since I only needed one more to complete my yard. Great product and great customer service.

Size was perfect for what I needed. Watered my hibiscus plants to see how well it held water. Once the water soaked in, I was able to twist the rings down into the ground a little more securely. These should protect my favorite plants from my “weed- eater happy husband “😁

Bought these to plant roses on a slope. Work perfectly. Keeps water from running down hill and lets it soak into the roots of the plants. Will buy more when I need more.

As said not cheap and you could DIY something to work, but they are convenient along with being sturdy. With landscape fabric and mulching lightly (Don't cover trunk so it can breathe) to control weeds these not only focus watering on young trees but also protect from yard maintenace damage. Can't really see a way to improve so if you have young trees in need and can afford, I highly recommend. P.S. cost over the years balances out

Sturdy and well made nice to use for landscaping and surrounding with stone so you can change planting’s from year to year without moving the stone around.

Whe have established fruit trees but watering them and not wasting water in Southern California had been an issue: water spreading far from the trees feeding weeds rather than the trees. When I saw these I decided to give them a try when we planted new fruit trees. So far they have been a success, concentrating the water around the trees and maximizing watering instead of feeding weeds far and wide.

Wonderful to keep plants safe from Bermuda grass and retains water!
