A recent, every large study showed that wearing a non-medical mask like these reduces COVID infection rates by 85%, meaning if we all just wore them, we'd probably be rid of this virus a lot quicker than we would be otherwise. I bought a bunch of different masks searching for one I could wear daily, that was comfortable, thick enough that it contains and prevents the spread of 'droplets' that spread the disease, and could easily be washed. These are the ones that met my criteria, and as an added bonus, they have a small metal strip embedded in the nose area that *keeps the mask from sliding down your face*. That last part is crucial. If you've watched any news coverage of reporters out during the protests, you've probably noticed that many of them have trouble keeping their masks from sliding down while speaking. These stay in place thanks to the nose strip. Also, the ear straps are very soft elastic that can be stretched a bit so they don't pull on your ears and get uncomfortable. The straps are also thicker than most, so they rest softly on the backs of your ears and don't 'cut in' to your skin. I wish they had more colors/designs for summer and for the ladies who don't want to wear a jet-black mask, but alas, we have what we have. I'd buy these again (and will be getting more) because they really check all the boxes. They're even large enough to almost entirely cover my beard, which is great for keeping my droplets to myself. Great product, well-built and very comfortable. Buy these.

In needing to wear a mask while at work I was concerned about finding one that fit comfortably, wasn't too thick so that I did not feel like I was suffocating and that looked nice. This mask fit the bill nicely. It has two layers to the fabric, the front colored/designed piece and then another piece of soft white cloth on the inside. It's hot and humid in NC right now but I've been able to wear this mask comfortably when out in public. It's not too heavy, but I can definitely feel it in my face once I've taken it off, so it does fit against the face, not tight, but is a close fit. I'm sure this varies based on face shape and size. It fully covers my nose and mouth does not move around much at all when I'm talking, so I do NOT had to readjust, which is important since I don't want to have to constantly put my hands on my mask. The navy blue flower design is very pretty. I purchased another space theme in this same brand of mask and it's just as great. Very glad I found these!

For short term wear I really love this mask, however for longer wear it gets rather wet and I feel like I have to fight a little bit to breathe through it if I fit the nose piece snugly. Not saying it's impossible to breathe through, just that it's probably not an ideal choice for someone with respiratory issues like asthma if you want to have it very fitted around the nose. I straighten the metal a bit to let air through when I'm wearing for extended periods. The metal, however, I don't like. It's a good, heavy duty metal, but the ends were just snipped off with no effort made to bevel them. They poke through the fabric a little bit, and I take great care to make sure they are not angled inwards at all when putting the mask on. That hasn't been a problem with my other masks. I considered loosening a seam, snaking the metal out, filing the ends, and returning it, but just haven't bothered. The fit is quite comfortable, the pair of masks fit me and my spouse well despite our varied head sizes. The earpieces are not bad, and have a remarkable amount of give while still holding the mouth snugly in place. If buying for someone to wear all day, I would recommend packing a fresh one or two for the person to refresh theirs throughout the day. Mine have had no issues laundering inside a delicates bag and hanging to dry. In the end I probably won't buy more of these, however I do not regret the purchase and think the price was fantastic. I have been very happy to have them.

Tl;dr - Worth the extra couple bucks, very comfortable, thick fabric, durable in heavy wash cycles, doesnt fog glasses, just reordered more. Easily the best face mask I've used so far. It fits my face perfectly. I have no trouble with my glasses and safety goggles fogging up with these, which is a problem I have struggled with forever, especially since the pandemic (I always had trouble back when I did medical and manufacturing work that required any sort of mask, much more than others. My face shape just doesnt play well with masks and glasses.). This mask doesnt shrink in the wash (unlike the crap Hayne's masks) and my work means they get very dirty and I wash them in hit water and the heavy soil cycle. It breathes very well but still feels substantial unlike some other masks that breath well but are so loosely weaved as to be basically useless for any sort of filtration. The design is also neat, but not my main concern. I just reordered this pack and the pack of black masks this seller is offering. They cost a slight bit more than some of the others out there but it's absolutely worth it because they aren't miserable to wear and they will outlast the cheaper ones.

I ordered these specific masks because the description said there was an adjustable nose bridge wire. There is not. Otherwise comfortable - but not what I ordered. I already have cotton mask with no wire which fogs my glasses - I wanted a nosebridge wire specifically and these are not what i wanted.
