Fit perfectly and went wonderfully with my aesthetic which was. . . Gothic teenage having horrible time with parents at a Renaissance Fair, but mostly embarrassed by mom's boobs and dad's codpiece.Ended up feeling like I should wear this while the water laps around me and I watch my lover's ship go down in flames when I thought he was coming back to me. Beautiful dress, very poetic in how it inspires you. Wear this while you bury your lover -- alive, preferably. You'll look beautiful.

This is perfect and I swear I have looked high and low for a cotton version for years! I have about 8 black peasant dresses and the only cotton one was sewn weird on one boob so there it sits in my closet with The Others who are too hot/too shiny/too small in the arms etc. I got the xl and I am a solid size 16, c-cup, 44 waist. The dress looks tiny coming out of the package but has plenty of room for a woman of my smokin’ hot stature. I would caution anybody above a D cup or larger arms to maybe go with the 1X, because your “golden globes” may need a bit more coverage. Or just let them be free, you are hot fire, girl. 👌

Looks just like the picture, sturdy fabric. The skirt is definitely a little bit see through, and the underskirt is really short. I wore a slip under it and that seemed to help a lot. The elastic is plenty stretchy.

Perfect underdress for renaissance fair or costume or even just for normal wear. Light and thin and a little wrinkled out of the bag, but easily fixed. I’m 5’4” 125 lbs and a small fit me perfect. If your wearing it as an underdress I recommend you size up for your overdress as the bodice area is a bit lumpy under a corset.

fabric is cotten which is good for an authentic renaissance look. One thing I wish The elastic waist part was tighter and less lumpy and long. When you put on a corset or belt it puffs out around the lower abdomen area. Other than that it's what I wanted. I got the "regular" size. I'm 5'4 125 pounds.

For the price, this is a pretty good chemise dress. I bought it to wear when working from home and to use as an under-layer for winter. Under a long skirt, it helps keep everything a little cozier and warmer. Peeking out from a cardigan on top, it gives a very cute feminine look.However, it's really obvious that they cut corners on the lining to save money. The lining barely covers your bum and since the fabric is pretty sheer, you can see a big dividing line where it ends. It bunches up when you sit down and becomes rather pointless. I'm going to cut it out and wear this with a petticoat if I'm using it as my main garment.I got the XL, which is plenty stretchy, but I might remove one or two of the underbust elastic lines because they come up over my bust unless I pull it down and show off more cleavage than I'm personally comfortable with.

Great dress for a great price. I got it for the Northern California Renaissance Faire. Fit great. I’m pretty short, only 5’. It was a little long but that didn’t bother me.

I am a proportionate 195 pounds and 5'2. I bought the XL and it fit perfectly except for it's a little long, but that's ok. The material is a light cotton mix that looks like it's going to keep me cool and it's soft. I didn't give it all the stars because the inside liner is quite short. I'm not going to need a slip because of my height but other people might.
