I have had this product for almost a year, and it continually performs well. Both I and my roommate use this at least 4-5 days out of the week. My hair is about shoulder-length, thin and slightly wavy, while hers is coarse, extremely thick, kinky and about shoulder length.This little hair straightening brush does a fantastic job of smoothing our hair out and leaving it a nice and full-straight, rather than a paper-thin straight, so it keeps the body and volume in our hair without making it look like a poorly done blow-out. We absolutely love it, and it was well-worth the investment made.Some of the small rubbery protective nubs on the brush have fallen off, but as long as you're not touching your scalp too closely with the brush, it does not affect the effectiveness of this product. I highly recommend it to those with essentially any hair type. It works well and lasts.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this brush, given the low price and the large variety of heated hair straightening brushes to chose from. I found this brush to be very nice and better than I expected. I have very thin, fine hair, but a lot of it. It dries a little frizzy and with just enough curl to make it not wavy, but not straight and it has no volume, so it looks awful. I loved the idea of a brush that could help me get rid of that wave and give me nice smooth hair.I followed the directions and used the heat recommended for thin hair. It only took a few minutes for the brush to heat up to the desired temperature and then I was able to start brushing through my hair. I found a few things that make it a bit frustrating to use. The on/off button and heat adjustment is on the side of the brush handle, where you would normally grip the brush, but if you grip in the wrong area, it is easy to change the temperature on the brush without really trying to. I moved my hand to the paddle part of the brush, but this area gets quite hot. The brush itself was great and worked well through my hair. It was just the design of the brush that left me feeling frustrated as I had to keep checking to see which button I had accidentally pushed. There is a nice display that clearly shows the temperature and that helped. I would probably give the brush at least a 4 and maybe a 5 if not for that design issue. Everything else was great and it heated consistently and thoroughly and is actually a really nice product for the price.

I can't believe it straightened my hair! I use 400 degrees on my flat iron and I still spend 30 minutes doing my hair. This straightening brush only goes up to 230 degrees and did the job without burning my hair. My hair is soft and my ends aren't damaged.Holding the brush can be difficult as the on/off button and temperature settings are in a bad spot on the handle. I turned off the brush 3 times on accident. The cord swivels, and has a Velcro wrap for storage. The back of the brush does get hot so I don't recommend holding it by the back of the brush paddle. The bristles don't burn your scalp. I thought that my forehead would burn but I was able to brush past my face and it never burned. If your hair falls out when brushing like mine does, remember to wait until it cools off before cleaning the brush out. Always use a heat protector. Typically it takes 30 minutes on a flat iron and 35 with a blow dryer to do my hair. This brush took me 12 minutes! My before picture is on the left, after pictures on the right.

I got this packed properly so there was no damage, and it was right on time. Then I tried it. I kept everything so I could send it back. I have really REALLY long thick hair. Well, I've thrown all that stuff away. This works!!! My daughter stopped by later the first day after I used it and couldn't believe that this was all I had used on my hair. I did separate my hair into smaller sections, not just brush it straight thru, but like I said, my hair is seriously thick. It took less than half the time to do my hair than with a straightener. This is my new "go to" hair tool! I've seen these selling for a LOT more than this and I just don't see how they could be much better than this. The only down side is,as others have said, watching about pushing buttons as you use it, but it's not really rocket science to learn where to hold it. I highly recommend this!

It does straighten. But leaves my naturally curly hair frizzy no matter what antifrizz product I use. My hair is in excellent condition and it makes it look dull and lifeless. Sonder beauty emailed me directly asking if I had received it and if I had any questions. When I told them about the problems I was having, they suggested antifrizz products. I asked if they had any other suggestions. When I told them I had tried several, they told me to contact my stylist? I have literally tried every trick I know. Even starting with slightly damp hair.

Received in the mail yesterday and tried it today. I have very thick red hair that is poofy. Set the temp to 220C per instructions and it worked great. not as straight as a flat iron, but straight enough to make me feel good about myself. Now for the cons: the controls are on the handle - right where you put your thumb when you hold the brush. With every stroke of the brush, I felt myself changing the temp or turning it off. at one point I looked at the temp gauge and it said 400F, how in the heck did I change it from C to F?? I am still trying to figure that one out. I really like the product but think the controls should be elsewhere. I don't want to bake my hair

If you are a person who is always in a rush, this product might be for you. It heats up and it works but for my personal preference it was not worth it. Ill stick to my flat iron , curling iron or wand. My mom loved it but she doesn't worry too much about her hair.
