Actually, I have 4 favorite teas, and they are all produced by Harney & Sons. This English Breakfast Tea by Harney & Sons is a classic Chinese black tea. It's what I consider a fine cup of tea. No frills or added flavors. It looks, tastes and has the wonderful aroma that I always wanted in a traditional cup of tea, but was elusive until I found this one. It's a caffeinated tea and good to drink anytime and anywhere. Unlike white and green teas, which are best infused with less than boiling water, this black tea is brewed with boiling water for 5 minutes. I make a 16 oz. pot of tea with one silk sachet. I also make a lovely sweet iced tea from this for the summer as well. It comes in an attractive and useful metal tin, to keep the 20 silk sachets fresh from first to finish. If you want a simple, traditional cup of tea, this fits the bill. I serve this to people who say they just want regular tea, and it always brings on compliments. Once they try this, they often adopt it as their favorite tea too. Sure, it's a little more expensive than the bargain brand in paper bags, but it's always fresh and makes an excellent cup of tea. It's well worth it if you enjoy good tea. As always, make sure you use filtered or bottled water to brew this, or any tea. If the water has chemicals or off tastes and/or smells, putting even the best tea in it won't remove or cover up the fact that it's not for making tea. My favorite teas, and I couldn't pick one over the other, are Harney & Sons Wedding Tea, Jane's Garden Green Tea, English Breakfast Black Tea, and Dragon Pearl Jasmine Tea.

how on earth is this tea so sweet? no sugar added. none in the ingredients. It's delicious and a great replacement for sugary and sugar free sodas. the hot cinnamon flavor is also delicious. lovely.

Really good… no really GREAT tea. It tastes like a melted cinnamon candy. A minute or so later you taste tea. The second cup of course is less intense than the first. Bravo on the marketing too. When I ordered it I assumed it was an English company from I don’t know the 1800s or something. No it was founded in Connecticut in 1983 now based in New York. That’s not a bad thing, just not what I thought Harney & Sons was. I’ve already ordered others to try don’t worry.

I love the smell and the smoothness as it goes down my throat the taste of cinnamon that it leaves,I usually use sugar in my tea but I didn't have to in this tea,the fresh taste of cinnamon with each drink I highly recommend this to anyone

This is a high quality tea for sure. I have purchased other teas from this company and they are always tasty. 4 stars only because the cinnamon flavor is present, but lighter than I had hoped. I am on a quest to find a strong tea and this wasn't quite it. If you enjoy a light flavor, this is very good.

This is wonderful tea. Very aromatic and flavourful. Smells and tastes like Christmas in the house when it is brewing. Also tastes sweet even with zero sweetener.
