Simple to Use, Uniform Size Makes Cooking Easy!
This is a great little tool for making slider burgers! I find it very difficult to make uniformly sized hamburger patties, so this burger press was a great helper to make sure that all the patties were the same size and thickness. Uniform size makes it much easier to ensure even cooking, plus they look better! The press was heavier than I expected, but very easy to use. I would recommend lining with wax paper to make it easier to pop the burgers out once they are made and also to make cleaning easier once you are done using. It took a few times to figure out the right amount of meat to add so that the patties were full but not overflowing when I pressed, since I am not very good at judging how many ounces of meat I am using just by looking. Now that I have used it a few times though, I can easily judge the right amount. I love that you can use this to make any kind of burger you want - hamburger, turkey, even crab cakes. Super simple to add extra ingredients like cheese, veggies, etc to your meat so you can create fun and different flavors. It's the perfect size to fit the mini slider buns, and great for a party. Though easy to use, I think it makes more sense to make a bunch of burgers at one time and then freeze them if you won't use right away. I wish there was a way to fold the handle down to make it a little easier to store, but it is still rather small and doesn't take up too much space.

Roughly Made
Burger press works. Patties are on small size, even for sliders. Metal edges are roughly finished. Does not affect functionality but it’s clearly not a quality product. Made to just get by.

Easy as pie slider and sausage patty maker.
I wavered at first on this item, due to some of the reviews I read about not being able to get the sliders out after pressing. But I went ahead and bought it since I needed something like this to make up breakfast sausage patties for my wife's breakfast, since she is doing Keto, and needs to control carbs and eat regular.I unpacked and washed the unit in warm soapy water, then rinsed it and dried it off per the manufacturer's recommendations. After that, I mixed up turkey breakfast sausage for the patties. Since this are always slightly more sticky at 80/20 then pork sausage or ground beef, I opted to line the bottom half of the press with wax paper instead of plastic wrap. I then made up 1.5 inch balls weighing 2 ounces, and placed them in the center of the wax paper of each mold. I then covered it with another sheet of wax paper and applied firm even pressure to the top of the press. You will only be able to press down so far due to the depth of the mold. If you try any harder, the meat will ooze out the sides as happened with the first round of patties.Once that was done I peeled off the top layer of wax paper, grabbed the mold and the bottom sheet of wax paper and flipped it over onto my copper griddle surface. The bottom layer of wax paper peeled easily off the patties. I then used the top half of the press to hold the patties to the grill.Couple of notes:1. Try to center your meat mixture ball in the center of the mold cavity2. Press on the top half just until you see the meat slip out slightly3. If you use the top half as a press on the patties on your grill or griddle, do NOT leave it there too long. It WILL get hot.Overall, this is a great item for making sliders or sausage patties. I feel it is better then some of the other ones out there that only have 3 mold cavities. It's a keeper for us.

they did cook evenly which seemed better than "hand formed"
decent press that forms the burgers as expected. you could certainly do the same with your hands but this makes it faster and more even. they did cook evenly which seemed better than "hand formed". I sprayed pam on the press prior to adding meat which helped with removal. no problems with cleaning in dishwasher. I probably wouldn't buy again but I will keep it since it was faster than hand forming. my brother and I were able to make 3 lbs. of burgers much faster than by hand.
