RefectoCilCream Hair Dye (no 1.1 Graphite)

Product came on time and was as described / advertised. Color is good. Product seems to last well.

When my eyebrows turned grey, they did not do so evenly; one was nearly white while the other was still dark. Looked pretty weird, so this eyebrow tint is a huge help. I have to leave the tint on for 15 minutes, not the recommended ten, to get coverage. I use a small angled makeup brush to apply the tint. I have found it is best to add the 10% developer (sold separately) a drop at a time to the tint, stirring it it after each addition. If I add too much developer, the mixture is runny and the coverage is poor. It needs to be the consistency of toothpaste. My first attempt did not come out that well - not much coverage - but when I tried again a few days later, making sure to use a thicker mixture and leaving it on for 15 minutes, it came out perfectly. I have had no problems with staining of the skin, but my skin is oily; folks with dry skin may have a different result. The tint lasts about 3 weeks for me.

As I have gone grey, the light ash brown hair color creme that I use on my brows has become just a bit to red/brown for my coloring. This graphite 1.1 Refectocil is perfect for tempering the color. I use the developer from a Refectocil Blue-Black kit that I have used for almost two years. I expect these products will last me several more years, making this a very easy and inexpensive way to maintain my brows and lashes.

My hair stylist uses this product and recommended Refectocil for dying my eyebrows/lashes as well. I mix both brown and black for a more customized look. I use black on my eyelashes. This dye lasts about 6-8 weeks. Product is super easy to mix with the oxidant liquid, the creamy texture is easily applied to brows or lashes and clean up afterwards is quick without stains on hands etc.

I wish I had returned this item but unfortunately the return window closed. I have silver hair on my eyebrows and nothing happens, even when I apply multiple layers.

This is the best color to cover my gray eyebrows. Easy to apply and last about 2 months.
