This is great! I love the look and it works perfectly. I have to replenish with oil a lot as the scent wears off pretty quickly, but I love how subtle the smell is.

I received this today along with a bottle of patchouli oil. I was on my way out the door, so I opened the package and just lubed the balls up really fast and jumped in my car (not intentionally a joke, literally oiled the balls in the mechanism). When I got done from work (11 hrs) my car smelled of light patchouli as well as the wood it's made of! The wood smells so good alone! I turned on my fan and the car got more fragrant. A lot of poor reviews mention citrus oil and weird stuff that's not meant to fill the room in the first place. It's easy to use and smells as long as you understand how smell works. lol. Use the right oils. Do research. So, absolutely ZERO complaints about the product. Works great, easy to unscrew, no soaking needed but preferred by the company, easy to equip, and it looks hella sleek! A good conversation starter for someone entering your car and smelling your sandalwood, or vanilla, or something that actually has a full smell. 4 out of 5 ONLY BECAUSE it does not clamp flush in my Cadillac CTS, but that is absolutely the cady's fault and not the product's. Don't read the stupid one star reviews. They got their money back anyways

The design is great, stays put on the vent. The smell of the oil says pretty long.

The Good: Pretty, is reusable, is using natural essential oils (so no chemicals, and/or less waste).The bad: I don't want to sound lazy, but man, remembering to remove this from your car, refill it (which is a pain, more on that in a bit) and then return it to your car is way more difficult and cumbersome than i thought it'd be. Likewise, the temperature fluctuates in my car too much to just keep some EO on hand. So I've had this for about 4 months and used it really, only twice.The ugly: This is difficult to fill up - you either need to remove the pieces and pour some drops on the stones. Or you need to try to get the drops in the holes. You can also just soak the entire thing, but it doesn't really absorb that much oil, so the last option is wasteful, and potential to stain/get EO all over everything. Putting it back together is not as easy as you'd think, so it becomes super time consuming. It also doesn't last very long. I have a good selection of very high quality (like direct from the source, not third party or MLM companies - but actual lavender farms, etc) EO, so my quality is very good with very strong scents. First day - scent is awesome. After that it's pretty much gone. I thought this would probably be the case, but wanted to give the gadget a try anyhow.Overall - it's totally not the worse thing i've purchased and it does it's job. This is more a review as an actual use - the item itself is made as advertised, but it's not really a way to freshen your car with EO unless you have a lot of free time or are somewhat OCD about this kind of thing - for the rest of us we're going to forget and get frustrated.

Sadly I was disappointed in this item because even though it was so cute and I love the idea of a more natural car freshener, the oils didn't diffuse well. I followed the instructions by dropping oils onto the wooden part and allowing it to seep through the wood, but when I attached it to my car vent almost no smell came through. I'm also using top grade Young Living essential oils that diffuse well in my home diffuser so I know that's not the problem! Wish this worked out for me!

I waited to give my review because this wasn't working for me. So I thought I'd give it more time using the essential oils. I have read and re-read the instructions, following them exactly. I've used just one essential oil (Wild Orange), several times, hoping that it will seep in and the scent will stay. The essential oil is a very high-quality one from a company that I've dealt with for many years. There is absolutely no scent of the Wild Orange, whether I have the air vent on or not. I'm really disappointed, because I've read other buyer's reviews, which are so positive. I was looking forward to using this, and having a pleasant scent in my car, but sadly that's not the case. I'll keep applying the essential oil, and see if eventually it will work.

A few drops of your favorite essential oil in top and this works well! It’s also perforated in the back so some oil may spill. Clips nicely to my vent and the smell is perfect- no too overwhelming. Unique design!

It worked fine but it came unscrewed quickly and it didnt put off much scent.

So far so good. The screw is a bit loose, but I don’t think it effect it.

The lava stones don’t hold scent well at all. I might try fitting a pice of felted wool inside and try that instead?
