Easy to use and clean
I am very pleased with the slow feed dog bowl. I thought my dog Jake who is on a raw food diet would make a mess and get food outside the bowl. So far, not at all. Very please. It doesn't stay in place totally like stated, but for the most part the bowl doesn't move too much. It is easy to clean.

don't waste your money on this "bowl
I used this feeder for my Aussie, who normally wolfs down his food in about 30 seconds or less. This took him a bit longer - about 1 minute, 15 seconds to be exact. So, it did slow him down - slightly. If you have a dog that is determined to eat as quickly as possible (ours is on a diet, so he is VERY determined) and who doesn't see the soft, silicone nubs as a problem, don't waste your money on this "bowl." Also, since it has no sides, our dog accidentally pushes some of the food onto the floor, which would be messy if I was using wet dog food (wet dog food may also take him longer than dry food does to eat from this bowl, as he would have to lick each nub). For timid dogs, this would probably work fine.

This thing is GREAT!
When I first got my dog child he was a gobbler, he could inhale, and I truly mean inhale a cup of food in 15 seconds. I purchased a great puzzle bowl made of heavy plastic and it does work great! But......feeding twice a day and sanitizing and cleaning it was not easy, it is almost impossible to get it clean without running it through the dishwasher for all the loops and turns and bumps in the bowl and destroying my fingers and knuckles in the process. I had been seeing this silicone bowl? bowl? it doesn't bowl?, for a while now. But....it's all good, I bought the large one, I feed 1 cup 2x per day (believing even 2 cups may be doable at once on this feeder), easy wash and dry and the dog is responsive to it, he did look at it with a questionable attitude at first but there was food! It keeps him eating at the same slower pace as the heavy plastic puzzle bowl. I am very very pleased!

Works well to slow down the eating, but material is too thin
Used for about a week now. Our lab puppy has slowed down his eating, but he also chewed the tallest silicone piece right off. The silicone is too thin and not durable enough. Our puppy had just finished eating and tried to carry the item when the piece broke off. I had to take it right away to avoid further damage to the product. We also purchased a tray to help contain the food as there isn't a very big lip on the edge to keep the food fully contained and that seems to help keep the food somewhat close. We're still using the product, but have to pick it up right after meals which is kind of a pain as he still eats three times a day.

Highly Recommend
Amazing! My ONLY suggestion (and the reason I'm giving it 4 stars) is that it come with some training tips and or instructions. Other than that, this has increased our dog's eating time from <2 minutes to >5 and we have seen a big change in stomach bloating, as well!

GREAT PRODUCT !
This is a great product and I highly recommend it. It is soft and flexible so it will not injure an excited pup. I put the food bowl on the metal tray from my toaster oven so that I can easily pick it up, distribute the food, and place it inside my pup's crate so that all the mess is contained. That tray was the closest size match to the silicone dish. Plus, with hip problems, I don't have to pry it loose from the floor. It washes beautifully in the top rack of the dishwasher. Every pet supply store should be carrying this product. My pup is still not a casual diner, but she does have to take more time. I love this product !

Flimsy ~ soft silicone could be a choking hazard! Only one supervised use, and now worthless!
Great concept, but not study enough for your average dog. Does slow down feeding, but flimsy quality. On the 1st use, our Lab cleanly bit off three (yes 3) of the tops of the nubby things. Silicone is too soft, and could present a choking hazard to dogs. I would not recommend this Slow Feed Dog Bowl.

Happy eating!
So far so good! Took our girl 2.5 minutes to eat her usual 3/4 cup of dry kibble tonight -- on her first time using it. No gasps, burps, or hiccups after eating, so I'm happy. It's soft and easy to clean, and she didn't have seem to have any issues with the protrusions. There is a small lip along the circumference to help contain the food. A few pieces came out, but it was not a problem. This 'bowl' and her water bowl sit on top of a large mat, and this surprisingly moved a little bit while she was eating, it wasn't a problem though. Kind of wish a water bowl was also available, so it could match!
