Dual Length Locking Pivot Suction Cup Grab Bar, Balance Assist Bath and Shower Grip

I purchased this product to help my elderly mother steady herself in the shower. I have had it for about a week and I am extremely pleased with it. It was very easy to assemble and install. The suction mounts have a built in guage to tell you when they are properly sealed. The mounts stuck to our smooth marble shower walls like glue (in fact I mis-positioned one when I was installing it and had a devil of a time getting it back off so I could reposition it). I have checked it every day to make sure it is still properly mounted and safe for Mom to use. It has been rock solid since I installed it. Mom loves it and it gives her some security when using the shower. I will update after a few months to let everyone know how it performs over time.

We have 4" square acrylic wall tiles in our bathroom. This should be an ideal surface to attach the grab bar. Each time I tried, the initial grip on the wall was very solid. But, in less than a day one or more suction cups would be hanging loose, dangling while one remaining cup stayed attached.

I have a walk-in shower with no grab bar, didn't want to drill holes in the tile, and this sounded like a great idea. The item is as described and very well made, a real bargain for the price. It went together like a dream.The package had obviously been opened before, however, so I was a little suspicious, and when we tried to mount it, it quickly became apparent that no matter how positioned, if you have four-inch tile, there is no way each of the three suction cups can be centered on a tile. The sales page states that it can be mounted horizontally, which is what I need. But one of the three cups always is over a grout line! There is no way to adjust the length of the bars.To reiterate: This will work with smooth walls or 6" tile only, not with 4" tile.

These are terrific for shower doors. They adhere well and are very strong.The only suggestion I would make is to have a small "pinhole" drain in the bottom of the bulb areas where water accumulates over time and has to be drained manually.

Just as they state, takes only minutes to install and they are very easy to install. The suction cups are larger that most of their competors. They have been install and in use for a month or two, and show no signs of loosing grip and hae not fallen. Go a head and buy them. You will not be sorry. The pivot design is very good and makes them very useful. Also you have 3 suction cups holding the bars on the wall instead of just 2.

I ordered this item and had it shipped to my brother in Chicago in anticipation of my visit there. When I arrived over memorial day weekend I found that the suction cups would not stick to the tile in my brothers shower. So this was totally useless for me at the time.

I like the idea of it, but it doesn't work in our bathtub. The suction cups do not stick on the walls. Please advise on how and where to return the item to receive a refund.
