They look sharp…right out of the package!
They look great, the colors are nice, the finish chips off in big chunks on the poles, looks like little shark bites all over them after one game. Glitter silver flakes were raining down with each ringer, the shoes themselves are a little light weight as well. Worked good enough for our beach trip but Ive going to replace the poles, find some heavier shoes….well I guess that means replace this whole set? Made in China (and it shows)

If you like to advertise for China, this is a good product.
The horseshoes I received are not gold and silver, they're black and silver.Of more concern to me however, is that "China" is prominently forged on each one in large letters (larger than the brand name "Champion" featured on the website), not demonstrated in the photos on Amazon's advertisement. Horseshoes is a classic game of Western provenance from Rome to the UK to the US--had I known "China" was featured so obtrusively on each horseshoe I wouldn't have bought them. I respect the history of China and its people, but the advertising should have been forthcoming about this feature. I would't buy it again.
