They really waxed these, they are thinner than standard laces and the waxing job is amazing, so the fibers of the lace are not fuzzy at all, so pretty in smaller shoes. This is the cream color 46” and I tucked the res of the length inside the shoe, there was about 3-4 inches left over that I had to tuck. No biggie, worth the price! But they are significantly thinner laces than standard sized laces so be aware of that.

Reading other reviews I was concerned that the strings wouldn't appear waxed.The look, color, length is perfect. From the feel they seem to be pretty good quality. We will see how they perform. In the interim i can say. They are EXACTLY what I was looking for. Update: After wearing them a little bit. I noticed they come untied very easy due to the smoothness the wax provides. I believe that'll change with more wear. Other than that I stand by my previous comment. Update 12/30/23 As I suspected with more wears the strings do become slightly less smooth at the tie tension point and I don't have the coming untied issue anymore. This changed long before this update, it didn't take long.

I picked these up due to my Thursday sneaker laces being old and trashed. If you look on their official website, they don’t have replacement laces and instead offer Cobbler’s Choice Co., which is why I scooped these up here on Amazon. I’d say these are ymmv on quality. I ordered 2 pairs and 1 of the pairs, the quality wasn’t there (refer to pic). Comparing these to the Thursday sneakers laces, these are definitely thinner and longer. Not much stretch, but I definitely dig the shiny leather as it compliments my leather sneakers. As for value, I’m not sure. It’s definitely a tad bit on the pricier end and you could definitely find something similar and cheaper.

These laces really pop next to my 8083 IRs. Look forward to trying the other options!

I assume the other brands with more stars haven't tried these. In my experience the others fail miserably in terms of quality, color and they definitely aren't waxed or at least they don't feel/look waxed. Just take the $10 hit and buy these, others are a waste of time and money.
