Blade Runner 2049: The Storyboards

Blade Runner 2049 was a detailed movie. Flipping through these Storyboards you can get an idea of all the devilish details lavished on it by the illustrators. These drawings are the conceptual foundation of the finished film, frame by frame. Highly recommended!

This book is a great companion piece to the other books about 2049’s Production that Alcon has put out. The notes accompanying the storyboards are insightful and the storyboards themselves show just how concrete of a vision the filmmakers had for this project. As a big fan of the movie and someone interested in the production behind it, I am happy to own this book.

There aren't many 'Art Of' books that actually feature many samples of the Storyboard artwork produced on a production, whether it be for film, TV, games or other. This book, from cover to cover, is simply and specifically a healthy collection of the Storyboard art produced for Blade Runner 2049. As such, it is an essential purchase for any Storyboard Artist and film lover in general.

A lovely book.Most of the story boards drawings are no bigger than an adults thumb. Have to get up close to see the details. If they were bigger the book would be too heavy. That is not a complaint. I love the art of storyboarding in pencil work giving the insight of how certain scenes make it to the film. They are lots of drawings to look over. Detailing most of the film.Some concept art make it in to the book also. They are other books for Blade Runner 2049 that show more concept art. This is not that book if you want that type of drawing.Overall a good book for the coffee table anf your collection.

tiene un diseño de muy baja calidad , desaprovechando parte de las hojas, por lo que los storyboards se ven más pequeños de lo normal,junto las notas que hay al lado. Probablemente un mejor diseño del espacio haría del libro algo mejor y más lejible.

Si comme moi, vous êtes intéressé par le storyboard, foncez!Très peu de storyboard professionnels sont proposés de la sorte.Les images auraient pu être un peu plus grandes et les commentaires des deux storybordeurs, quoique intéressants, n'apportent rien et prennent un peu trop de place à mon goût.L'impression est excellente et les dessins sont assez clairs pour pouvoir analyser la mise en scène.Un bel outil d'étude pour toute personne intéressée par le storyboard.
