State Fair Chicken BBQ Sauce

I love this stuff.
I know, some people will tell you Lupo's is the better product but they'd be wrong. I usually buy it in the gallon jug for large BBQs, but since I no longer live in Endwell NY I can't find it. This is not slather on BBQ sauce. This is a marinade. I use this exclusively on bone in chicken, which I marinade for at least 24 hours. When grilling the chicken I usually (not always) use some smoke (generally apple or mesquite depending on sides) and direct then indirect grill method. The last 5 mins of grilling I finish the chicken with a brush on BBQ sauce. Usually go with maker's mark retail sauce or something I make myself. I have always gotten rave reviews on this chicken.

Wasn't expecting such AWESOME flavor out of a bottle!
I wasn't expecting much from marinade in a bottle but I noticed the ingredients were wholesome and so I thought I'd give it a shot. I butterflied and pounded thin 2 chicken breasts and dumped the marinade on top along with some garlic (the instructions suggest it for sweeter flavor) and some chopped fresh parsley and basil because I had it on hand and didn't want to waste it. Put it in the fridge overnight. For dinner the next day I salt and peppered the chicken and put it on a nice hot grill. I spooned some marinade over the top and let it cook, flipped it and spooned more marinade over the top. HOLY COW this is how I want to eat chicken ALWAYS. It was juicy and flavorful - I went back for 2nds and 3rds. Yes that's right - I craved a THIRD helping of skinless grilled chicken breast. This is a great way to add great flavor without adding many calories. Chicken dream come true. Next I'm going to try this on pork chops..... :)

A delightful alternative to barbeque sauce!
I found this at Hannaford Supermarket in Maine for less than $4 for a bottle. It is sugar-free and contains primarily soybean oil, vinegar and pasteurized whole eggs along with garlic, pepper and special seasoning - all natural ingredients and no preservatives. This has a great aroma and it is an easy way to prepare well-seasoned chicken without resorting to sweet barbecue sauce. I have used it for baking chicken that I have marinated in the sauce so far.

Amazing Barbecue Marinade
This stuff is my absolutely favorite chicken marinade and also vinegar based salad dressing. Everyone asks what I use when grilling.
