Nice Electric Fan
I bought this fan to replace the factory clutch driven fan in my 1982 Toyota Supra. When I was working on the car, I broke the radiator shroud and my clutch driven fan could no longer create adequate air draw through the radiator to cool it. I bought this unit, along with a mechanical thermostat and it worked flawlessly. It's not heavy duty setup, but it worked perfectly for my application. It kept my car cool on the hottest of days (near 100*F). The install method is relatively simple, you shove plastic screws through the fins on your radiator, then run a plastic nut on the other side. Once again, it's not a real heavy duty setup, but it works perfectly for me. If you are looking for a good replacement/alternative to a mechanical fan and you know this one is adequate to keep your engine cool, I would definitely recommend it. Make sure you buy a thermostat to control it. Also, make sure you have an extra space free on your fuse box so you don't have to wire your thermostat directly to your battery. I had to take this route, because my 82 Toyota didn't have any spare fuse links. The thermostat would kick it off and on for about 10 minutes after the car was shut off on a hot day.

Flex-a-lite S394 Electric Fan Assembly 14 inch
The Flex-a-lite S394 Electric Fan Assembly 14 inch kit worked perfectly in my 1974 Triumph TR-6. The fan and shroud fit perfectly on my radiator and is set up as a puller. You can switch it to a pusher system but most people desire it pulling the air rather than pushing it from the outside of the radiator. I also purchased the control module which in my opinion is a must. The control module can be set up to the desired temperature simply. As well as the fan turning on automatically at the desired temperature you can set up a manual switch inside the vehicle as well. Both the fan assembly and control box are easily installed with clear simple instructions. By the way this product is made in the USA.

Good pusher fan
I bought this fan and set it up as a pusher, auxiliary fan to my SPAL 16" primary fan. This fan is mounted to the condenser and set to switch on a full speed when the aircon is turned on. The fan keeps my radiator temperature cool all the time, I use to see the temp climb up to 100degC before the SPAL runs at full speed to cool it down. With the Flex-a-lite, the temp seldom rises over 95degC, staying below 90degC most of the time. I highly recommend this fan.

Wow
Used to replace the engine fan in the Smart car, with two hours work and a cuss word here and there, it saved at least $800. And it works great.
